Apologize if this has already been asked, this thread moved so quickly once the verdict was reached! When I was watching yesterday, I saw the defense seemed to be disputing something right before sentencing, and Judge Werner said they needed to put in an order. Can someone tell me what that was about? Thank you.
I think I remember seeing Tolini ask to approach the bench and he said an issue had come up.

I don’t know if the Judge ever had him come up to the bench or not.

I’m wondering if it was about what he asked the Judge later - that the Defendant was requesting a certain prison facility ( San Carlos ?)

Just speculation

I'm guessing Al either didn't know what it meant -- or he didn't mean to say it.
I think he was looking for an insulting word, I doubt he realized it is derogatory slang for unkempt African American hair and is considered offensive in the same way the "R" word is for other people. I don't hold it against him in any way.

She did that interview after she had changed her story and said he was abducted and she was raped. When was the changed story released to the public?
I think before her arrest she had “hinted around “ on social media about an abduction, maybe in her phone interviews with Crime Online too. Something about a guy asking for a suitcase?

Seems like all of us here first learned of what she told LE about Eguardo and Quincy and sexual assault when the Arrest Affidavit was released on April 3, 2020 ( about a month after her arrest)

"She is the definition of coward and evil." Landen Bullard

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Three years after an 11-year-old Colorado boy’s murder, a jury found his stepmother, Letecia Stauch, guilty on all counts.

A judge sentenced her to life without parole. FOX31 sat down one on one with Gannon Stauch’s biological mother, Landen Bullard, just hours after the verdict.

Bullard invited FOX31 into her El Paso County home. After three years, five long weeks of testimony and an agonizing weekend of waiting for this verdict, Monday was unlike any feeling she said she’s ever been through.

I've been with everyone since the very beginning of this nightmare and only realized now why I've been so close, so consumed, so much like a grieving mother....
it was not until yesterday that I found out that Gannon shared my only child's birthday, September 29th.

"Today is the day out of these three agonizing years that my son has justice, without a shadow of a doubt." Just two questions from my exclusive sit-down with Landen, Gannon Stauch's biological mom tonight hours after the verdict. Full story tomorrow.

This is just one question. We spoke for over a half an hour. Will have live parts of it tonight at 9 and 10 on
@KDVR and a lot more tomorrow when we also sit down with Al and Michael Allen. Hope to put up full videos for one-on-ones ASAP.

Letecia Stauch will serve the maximum sentence for the brutal killing of her 11-year-old stepson, Gannon. After a jury found Stauch guilty of all charges, Judge Gregory Werner decided to proceed directly to sentencing.

Before handing down two life sentences, Werner called the facts of the case "the most horrific I have ever seen" and listened to statements from Gannon's family and others affected by the case.

Too late to edit my post above ^^^^^
@GypsySoulAL
I was wrong about WHEN Tolini asked for a bench conference.
It wasn’t at reading of verdict or at sentencing.
It was when the Judge called them in to hear the Jury questions at 9:00 a.m.

Starts around 10:00

Around 13:00 after Judge has read questions and answered them, Tolini asks to approach and it sounds like he says “ an issue came up over the weekend “
He and DA Allen do approach.
I don’t think we ever learned what it was about.

One thing I’m fairly sure of… no bath salts or bombs in big girl panty prison.

Truest thing she said during the trial? “I have no involvement in Gannon.” Wow, can we please put her under where other people are under the jail?
She’s awful. Man, what was going on with her that made her think that was okay? Ugh. Morticia needs to rot.
