JMO, but the remains being dumped in the landfill without the coroner's knowledge is slightly fishy. It just makes no sense, considering this woman was the victim of murder, and a brutal one at that.
I believe Mary Henley to be the more likely match. She matches the sketch more IMO, and disappeared closer to Colorado. It seems like a stretch to say this woman has been "presumptively ID'd," as there are two viable matches here.
Also, do they know what happened to the other evidence? There could be something on them, even if it's highly unlikely. I'm not giving up on this case until every avenue has been investigated.
I wonder where the Find a Grave page got Dory Hill Cemetery from, if she was actually dumped in the landfill. Either way, NamUs should give more credibility to this explanation, as I've already emailed them about it.
