Is it just me, or does it sound like this jail nurse seems to be very reluctant to answer Orman's questions? Eventually, she does agree.

Well, It appears from admission through Oct 23rd ( professional visit assuming his lawyer's) ALL without incident...I'd bet he's getting pretty bored by now and starting to realize this is going to be how the rest f his life is going to be lie!! We all know how he gets when he's bored :gaah:

perhaps he will stop eating and drinking and get that great hospital food every so often....

I noticed that as well---kinda like she was trying to protect the inmate? I don't really know

Yeah..didn't he tell Dr. Reid he liked it there because he like being alone and didn't have to deal with other prisoner's intrusiveness or something along that line. He's happy to keep to himself ..as he hates people :tantrum:

Don't buy this at all...Accident victims and people lost in the wilderness can survive a lot more than 2 days without food and water.. They just get weaker and weaker. No one is catatonic 1 minute and than hopping on a gurney without assistance the next moment...Also the patients I was exposed to that became psychotic had a longer progression in their symptoms. They didn't just wake up one morning and were psychotic. There was a gradual loss of contact with reality--also thoughts become disordered and than behavior goes to heck...All of this evolving in 24 to 48 hrs is too rapid for me to accept. Please people who are involved with psychotic patients---give us your expert opinions.
IMHO

Would JH have access to these "tests" in his studies?
they need to figure out something about these psych tests---this came up during that trial in Arizona.....

He very well could have... I have a BA in psychology and one of our assignments in my psych testing/stats class was to self-administer the MMPI and write a report about our findings and what they imply.

Way back when----(2008) I got really sick---couldn't hold down food or drink for a month or so--potassium level really really low along with electrolytes---I didn't get psychotic at all -- I was a mess! I went down to 90 lbs--so I don't know.
I have heard of it happening but perhaps it was from a court case and the defense spinning....IDK

I'm just wondering if perhaps he could have faked some things---I'm thinking some of this is from his knowledge (I do think he has some mental health issues but....)

Amen!! I agree... psychosis doesn't occur like the flip of a switch. It's a gradual decline. I'm not an expert but that's my understanding.

Jeremiah Leadem is testifying. He transported JH from jail to Denver Health.

Stated they saw him on camera voluntarily hold arms out, fall back. Denied loss of consciousness. Got up & did it again
Began exhibiting combative behavior and bruise on forehead.

JH moved by cell to ambulance by stretcher. Escorted JH out of cell, sat on gurney himself.
Guards were helping him onto gurney. He rode in back of amb. with JH

Observed - JH didn’t seem reliable, couldn’t hold conversation. Asked JH to do things, he was able to do that.

Leadem says Holmes "didn't seem reliable" describing condition after Nov 2012 bunk fall post-#theatershooting. But physically, Holmes was OK

  • #99
Leadem: "The phrase is 'you can't teach an old dog new tricks.'"
It's a standard phrase used to see if the patient can speak without slurring

Leadem: "I saw what I believed was an old-appearing contusion/bruise across his forehead... About the size of a baseball

Leadem: "He wasn't able to hold a conversation... I asked him to repeat a phrase... he would continue to repeat that phrase during the transport anica.padilla
