The jury has to see this is designed to mislead them. There is ZERO evidence that JH was behaving in this way before, during and directly after the shooting.

Yes it does happen, but it falls under the spectrum of those personality disorders in that they are manipulative in order to get either attention or to ACT crazy often to get some drugs or feign symptoms ( malingering) to prove some point..as in JH's case Def. stradegy of insanity that somehow can get linked back to actual crime he's in so much trouble for.

Much of his behaviour inside jail the first 3 1/2 months was no different than he had been prior to massacre. The professors, his fellow graduates, acquaintances all pretty well described him as quiet, avoiding conversation, socially awkward. He never as it appears to be a social person...Pretty well lived inside his own mind and thoughts..and yes..no doubt thought things outside of the box..BUT then again he was rather high IQ brainy..so wasn't interested in dealing with those other people who were all lesser than himself.
