I read here he is on Haldol - an antipsychotic medication

It is used in the treatment of schizophrenia, acute psychosis, mania, delirium, tics in Tourette syndrome, choreas, nausea and vomiting in palliative care, intractable hiccups, agitation and severe anxiety.[3][4] A long-acting formulation is used as an injection every four weeks in people with schizophrenia or related illnesses who either forget or refuse to take the oral form

Not sure if it is a ploy or necessary. Not sure who could decide that. I just did a quick search to see if I could find a link to back up the claim he is on this medication. I came up with an article that had some information I hadn't read. It may be old news to y'all, but I still found it interesting...so I am sharing.

I still firmly believe - and it will take a lot of information to get me to not believe it - that he was essentially faking his insanity. I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time) and of course, I don't matter. He just had too much knowledge based on his extended education on how one could/would act/react. IMO and all of that...

Does anyone know what type meds he is on? (referring to that he is quite in his chair)

I know I can take a 0.5 MG Lorazepam and it makes me sleepy But, I am sure he is on some heavy duty drugs!

It all seems so planned and I am finding it very hard wrap my mind around that insanity caused this...

Would they let JH stand trial if he was insane? Is his condition curable IF he is insane?
I wish I understood how he can claim insanity at the time of the shootings. If he was totally drunk or
High on drugs would it give him a pass as insanity would? He planned for weeks and weeks
And handled himself like a normal person during that time or someone would have called him on
It I think. Wonder what the jury's take is at this point.
I love this no nonsense but friendly court in Colorado.

There's definitely temporary insanity. If he was supposed to be on meds and didn't take them or was prescribed any at all and needed them.

I guess I am terribly confused by what 'insane' means at the time of the crime.

The only experience I have ever had with the 'insane' was my mother in laws' sister. She was in the state mental hospital and she was a wild women! When she was in her normal mode she came and lived with my MIL and FIL. She would clean, cook and do other chores. I was there one day and she went into one of her 'spells'...she was totally out of control and hit, bit, kicked, tore things up. I help my MIL take her to the ER and she tried jumping out of the vehicle, hitting us, and so on...She scared me!

Now this was many years ago and I know times have changed dealing with insanity. So, I think I will read more about insanity and wait till the defense puts on their case.

Not sure about that.

But after hearing/reading the transcript of his 38 minute interview with the FBI Bomb Tech...he didn't sound insane to me!

Do you have a link for the MS Police Officer shooting? Just so heartbreaking...I don't know what the answer is to cases of police overreaching/brutality. But I do know for DANG SURE it is not shooting Police Officers around the country!!!!!!!

Defense wanting to deny some crime scene investigators their testimony.

Thinks their testimony will be prejudicial. Thinks their testimony of how they had to go about getting the identity should be excluded.

Really?? Because it's hard to hear the testimony, and some of the witnesses get choked up, it shouldn't be heard????

Kristen Nelson: Says defense also objects to testimony from anyone who moved the bodies, wants to make a record that "we are objecting to any sort of setting the scene or describing the scene type testimony from these witnesses."
