I so wish that courtroom camera was zoomable to watch JH facial expressions as the witnesses described his strangeness.

It would have been real interesting to watch his reactions to the critisism about him.

A couple things I have always wondered about him is when the police showed up at the theatre. Why didnt he put up a gunfight?

He seemed ready to go down in a hail of bullets and the way he just gave up was so strange to me.

I would love for him to answer that question honestly why he gave up when they showed up.

Until he answers, I am going to guess at his answer.

I think he may have been scared of them. I think its very possible that he chickened out when the law confronted him.

They caught him off guard and they immediately had the advantage over him and so I think he could not handle the confrontation that he thought he could.

If he saw them coming, it may have ended differently. I think because he could not plan a defensive posture, he didnt know how to handle it so gave up.

I've had the same questions you have---I'll agree with your answer because truly I don't know why he gave up so easy.

He took Vicodin before the shooting. He clearly worried he might be hurt. When it came down to it he must have decided not to risk being shot.

I'm in the UK so I don't know what Vicodin is. Is it a prescription drug?

I'm personally looking forward to hearing Dr Lynn Fenton testify later on in the trial and finding out what was said when she called his parents and how their therapy sessions went. Will give some valuable insight, IMO.

And yes, I STILL want to know what was written in that note that JHs mother tried to pass to him and got them kicked out of court! Any speculations as to what it may have been, super sleuths?

I don't know if he could have gotten this drug from Lynne Fenton. She was disciplined in 2004 for prescribing Vicodin to her husband and an employee who weren't her patients. Is this something a psychiatrist would prescribe?

oooh, thanks. I had to leave for an appt. about an hour before they took lunch. Were they shown to the jury?

  • #659
Also - if he wanted to (I'm sure his legal team would discourage this) would he be able to take the stand himself?

I'm really curious about the note too. Was it the content that got them thrown out or just the fact that they tried to pass the note?

Is the patient/Doctor confidentially not recognised in a court case? Can Lynne Fenton be asked questions about their sessions?
