GSWs to chest, back, both arms and legs, was there with her boyfriend Chris Townson. They are both Navy veterans, recognized the smell of gas and immediately ran. He was not hurt.

Carli suffered gunshot wounds to chest, back, both arms and legs in the shooting.
Willing to bet she got hit with Shotgun pellets..Not an actually bullet..otherwise given where she was shot..she would have died on the scene....Gerr..
I'm not dismissing her injuries..but medically speaking..she got hit immediately with JH's initial onslaught....The fact they knew right away by the smell..and tried to exit immediately...His first weapon was that Shotgun that spewed pellets over large areas!!

Carli Richards sold pellets. Said the proceeds allowed her to get back on her feet post-shooting.
