Just another observation by me - one that has been made plenty of times.

But the setup in this court room is so strange...especially with this particular defendant!

His SOP is to look straight ahead, with very little movement. Of course, we don't know what they look on his face in, but I think most of us probably think it is just a "blank stare". Maybe due to medications, maybe something else.

And I just don't like that they put these witnesses in this position!!! To be "stared down" by JH. It is so disconcerting!!

The email made him remember when the presentation was.

May 8th.

He doesn't remember anything - fairly unremarkable - about presentation. If were either "awesome to not awesome", yes I would remember. Brauchler "How scientific!!" (LMAO!)

Was he disconnected from reality? No.

Was his appearance ever bad, etc? No.

He doesn't recall anything he told him.

He doesn't recall - but thinks he actually might have been talking about another student, which is recalled shortly after this interview.

The whole defense team says that every time....they're stalling to come up with something else they can use. I love it how the prosecution does follow up that destroys whatever was just brought out by defense!

Not sure why...because they were trying to get him to talk about the fact that in the course, they talked about delusions and their role in Schizophrenia.

Because IMO, I think his actions after this whole thing was what he learned during his education.

Usually when new, you want to ask questions to show techniques. He was not that way. He had to be prompted.

JH would do whatever asked when told, but was lacking on his own. Pros - was he detached from reality?
