Arguing that the "mystery" (found in evidence envelope that wasn't marked like others, and was cut open on stand) financial papers show that he is not insane. That his mental state was fine since he maintained financial and school records in order.

I agree.

It's rather long however it sure does indicate how this mind of JH works :scared:

After reading this and listening to the defence..I started to recall much discussion surround the best and the brightest of well known names..such as Einstein , Ernest Hemingway, Isaac Newton and so on....interesting huh?

Ummm... I always get lost. Isn't the objective to prove that he was legally insane (not knowing right or wrong) at the time of the murders? (vs. that he had a mental illness, which is a totally different thing and is for mitigation)

So.... this is all to prove that he was not legally insane... right? As the burden is on the state to PROVE sane, vs. most states where defendant has to prove insane.

Just checking my thoughts for feedback.

I am not sure how it all works. Spengler argued 401, 402, 403, hearsay and relevance.

Orman argued that these neatly organized papers show he was not in the "throws of 'something'" (referenced something King said in his opening, sort of "throws of manic state" though that was not the exact wording"

Orman said "What you surround yourself with is evidence of your mental state"

Not sure if that answers your question? The State is saying this financial information is showing he was not insane.

Thanks for the additional information. Did anyone catch what that orange piece of paper was/where found and what was testified to?

It was found behind a garbage bag, against the refrigerator, I think.

snip~ Physicians can prescribe these supplements — sold as tablets, capsules, liquids and powders – to help treat certain genetic disorders and a variety of other illnesses. Without a prescription, consumers can take over-the-counter versions of the supplements. The most common over-the-counter users today are bodybuilders and athletes who want to boost their endurance.

Other purported benefits include increased energy, enhanced circulation and improved immune system function. Scientific evidence to either confirm or refute these claims is lacking, with the few small studies that have been done producing conflicting results.

The last 2 witnesses were together, and are telling their stories as it happened for them. Richelle is very emotional, understandably. Nothing new though, so I am not transcribing their testimony.
