By JH saying "Will you visit me in prison" shows (to me) that he knew what he was about to do was against the law.

Agree.

It shows he not only knew it was wrong but he also knew there would be ramifications for his actions like prison time.

Infinity (symbol: &#8734 is an abstract concept describing something without any limit and is relevant in a number of fields, predominantly mathematics and physics.

My Bolded and underlined portion is just how JH embraced his need to kill masses of people..instead of trying to actually get some help..Manipulative very intellectual ..BUT instead of embracing the NEED for help..He EMBRACED the "Dark Side" instead:gaah:...EVILNESS Personified IMO!!

But a twist could be if he was insane leading up to the massacre that according to his whacked up mind he was doing the right thing but knew society would see it as the wrong thing to do and because he thinks society is wrong he would go to prison. I'm not 100% convinced just because he wrote this didn't mean he wasn't insane. I will need to hear all the testimony before I make my decision.

I read where it's about 5 feet away from JH. Too close, IMO
The other thing that is so unusual is that the witness stand is usually right next to the jury so that the jury can clearly see the witness. Here, they are across the room!

I think it's a "Spacial Example" that dramatizes the need for the Defendant to confront his accuser's.. But for sure..especially in THIS CASE..I think since JH/defence has NOT denied he did this..THEN there should be a courtroom setup that PROTECTS the witnesses..At least that's the way I see it!! :tantrum:

well, he even wrote in the notebook that 'chances of getting caught - 99%' in ref. to mass murder. He knew what was going on! IMO

The weird thing is if all his meticulous planning to make himself look nuts (crazy notebook notes, bashing his head against walls while in custody etc) were done on purpose, you'd think he'd be smart enough to not say will you visit me in prison on an online profile page just before the shootings.

Well that's what a jury has to do or why have a trial. Obviously the judge read the evidence and had to accept the insanity plea. Being a juror you have to have an open mind.
