Its fascinating to me that after he buys the weapons, he claims it didnt change his focus of his mission. He even says it escalated. Very surprised at that.

Especially since we know he practiced. I am really surprised that after he practiced with his weapons that he would not have reconsidered or at least put off his plans for awhile.
