I'm just so surprised by newsweek doing this. As judge said 'they should know better'. Which is true. It's not the first trial they reported on, they know the rules by the court about confidentially about jurors.

BTW- this has been a very strange day with the trial.

If defence ends up saying their witnesses can't testify due to the delay of today..So they won't be able to present witnesses as witness list suggests...ask for delay??? Good luck with that Brady/Higgs/Nelson/King...You caused today's delays...with Brady's constant drone of objections to so many powerpoint slides!! Gees!!

Anything the Judge decided in their favour was done out of ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION" not because it was so prejudicial..SMH
Junge will say..too bad so sad..IF witness feels so compelled to testify..they will remain...

WOW! The jurors have asked for SPECIFIC numbers. The first time I did a trial, I had NO idea that we had to request by number. There must be an EXPERIENCED juror back there to have kept track of the numbers, and knowing that they must ask by number.

As a newbie... :notgood: they would have never known to track that... :moo:

Love this judge and the prosecutor as he is expounding on what these numbers are referring to as I have not kept track!

I think they have a list of exhibits by number and no doubt some juror made not of exhibit in their notes...

BTW~~ I had no idea this is one of your first trials you've experienced..Welcome to a frustration thread..mainly because when following trials many know more facts than is allowed so get rather bummed out and frustrated!!

In one of the videos jurors have asked to see, JH asks police whether any kids were hurt in the #theatershooting. http://dpo.st/1ERAF0z

"There weren't any children hurt, were there?" JH asked police shortly after Aurora #theatershooting. http://dpo.st/1ERAF0z

I remember the shooter asking if any kids were hurt. That means he didn't plan on killing them. Surely that disproves that particular aggravating factor?

ETA that doesn't work actually. He saw them in the lobby. He also would have seen that little baby sitting near him in the theatre

I'm sorry I have neglected some of my twitter posts---between my sister calling and my BIL dropping by (he got stung by quite a few bees Monday--thought I should be polite and go downstairs :blushing:--because I'm just that nice :blushing:)
I can't believe what all they are asking for---I could see this for the first time around but NOT after they already view him as a murderer....

One of the aggravating factors jurors are considering is whether defendant intentionally killed a child under age of 12. #theatershooting

Jeffrey Evan Gold ‏@jeffgoldesq · 2m2 minutes ago
The #Theatershooting jury has focused on whether def knew a kid was hurt of killed and wants a video related to that

Not imho. He may not have *intented* to kill a child, -- he did say that he chose a midnight showing to avoid hitting children -- but he saw children in the lobby and in the theater. Didn't they say one baby was in the same row as him?

As soon as I had posted I went back and edited it. I said exactly what you just said! Great minds think alike! :D
