I know of someone who is trying to avoid the coppers!
Now I'm picturing little Cu elements racing around waving clubs and handcuffs.

Yeah. I think he committed the murder alone. Is the general consensus that he acted alone? (if your opinion is that is WAS 'he')
This is something that can absolutely be accomplished by one person... but... I dunno... IMO
I'm almost on a fence about a 2nd party. (no, NOT his mom - a peer or similar)
MOO
Worse were the high ranking people who, rather than stop it, told me it’s up to me to stop it by saying no. It’s a systemic issue unfortunately. But thank you. I just wonder if KB was in the same situation. It’s a very “good old boy” kind of environment, and if someone else took a liking to her...I just hope that theory is looked into. It’s partially why I’m not 100% sure that PF did this. The aggression I experienced was pretty intense, and saying “no” just made it more of a challenge.
We think of the texts as having to come from someone close to her. But someone who worked with her would know exactly who to text, too
Copper is an alloy, why would a person have copper in their system?
20 demerits! Do not pass Go!
Yes, according to her bro. Lots and LOTS of prior discussion of rolls if you will do a search.
(Unless you are being funny, of course. If so, good one!)
Let me ask everyone a question, if the intimate relationship between KB and PF is what it seems to be, if they were not really in one, is anyone able to consider that another person might be responsible for her disappearance? PF gets the child and goes on his way. KB had recently met someone and the two make plans for that evening. Maybe they agreed to have rolls at her place. When this person arrives, he says, let's go out and do something instead. Now the rolls are sitting on the counter, she ran out the door in a rush not expecting to go out that night. I would have to say, in the times we live in, it's possible for someone to meet someone online and not really know about them. I'm going to say this person was not someone KB knew that well but, he seemed nice enough. Is it possible she got involved with a crazy online dating person The plan for this person was always to do something harmful to whoever gave them the first opportunity. Maybe he wasn't from the area. I could imagine a scenario where KB had not been harmed but she was definitely taken against her will. This person decided to take her back to wherever he was from, which had them pass certain Idaho towns. She was forced to send the work text and then she managed to get her phone and turn it on just long enough for it ping off a tower somewhere. After that, who knows.
LE was given some info or they pieced something like this together and they are back at the condo trying to identify whoever it is. This at least explain why it seems they don't have video of anyone driving a certain vehicle near her home or in town. They wouldn't know what kind to look for. I think this is something that is pretty possible.
But then why would PF need to lie to CB about her going off to visit granny?
I think OP had a mix up of geographical proportions and confused Iowa and Idaho.
(Iowa borders Wisconsin and both sides are pretty rural parts of those states)
I at least I hope that’s what happened cause as mentioned by others. Idaho via Wisconsin from Colorado is a very long detour (though it would explain why it took 3 days to get to Idaho to text)

Because I am a foreigner and suck at geography. That square sitting atop the Colorado square... I can assemble a map, but WY or WI to me looks almost the same! (Feeling ashamed, and I should, because I have been to WI, once, at least. WY is terra incognita).
Actually, now that you have reminded me, I know a family with whom I grew up whose father died of that and all but one of the 5 children of that family died relatively young, but one of the children did not inherit the gene.Wilson's disease: excess copper in the body, genetic disease.
My good friend died due to Wilson's disease.
Yes, sadly I am not being funny. I missed the entire roll discussion.
Really? You could not point to Scotland on a map of the UK? I find that a bit a bit sad that someone was so disinterested in the geography of the world.Don't feel bad. I probably could not point out Scotland on a map of the UK. (Oops, that was another post.)

Yeah? From what?
I just text the doc I work with (MD - oncology):
"Is copper something typically found in urine or poo or blood or anywhere in the body? sorry. Following a true crime forum and need to know"
His reply:
"No not that I know of. Unless you pooped out pennies or similar"
So. There's one opinion from a licensed and practicing MD in CO.
