one of the MSM articles stated she helped get rid of the body.

^^^That may or may not be credible.

But what if she did so at gunpoint herself?

What if she was sitting out in the truck with the baby, thinking her bf was inside having an argument with his ex? And she had no idea he was killing her?

Then he comes outside, is acting crazy, and she suddenly realizes what is going on? Maybe he was desperate and angry and began threatening her and her children's safety. If he just killed the mother of his child, could she be next? ESPECIALLY because she was a witness to him being there.

"Helping" dispose of the body might just mean she was trapped by circumstances and was forced to go along with him out of fear of retribution. A valid fear, most likely.

Or maybe someone who was short and blond, female and about KB’S age was driving one of KB’s cars around or staying at her house for a couple of days while the clean up/repair/replace/repaint was happening? MOO Speculate Speculate MOO
BBM
Who would this be? Is there a verifiable source I missed? Thanks

Maybe she got an immunity deal. Maybe she had nothing to do with the murder. But she was there visiting him, and he killed KB, then threatened KK, telling her she needed to help him by taking the phone and texting, otherwise he would ____________.[whatever threats he maybe used]

Maybe she witnessed enough incriminating evidence that her testimony will get them a Guilty verdict. So they are giving her immunity and protective custody, because of his threats.
I can't imagine whatever her involvement is that she would get off scott free. At least I hope not. A lesser charge, but not immunity if she had knowledge and didn't come forward?- only by a warrant was forced to. Knowledge of makes her an accomplice. Do people actually get complete immunity in 1st degree murder??

Cannot fathom there is on ounce of financial motivation by Berreth either. Period.
Not one single post has suggested that. The motive relates to why murder KB?

She has been talking to the police for a very long time, (prior to christmas-ref Nancy Grace Dec 26 webcast) and no arrest has happened. It makes me think it won't because she got a deal or is working on a deal. i do think they are probably also talking to the other person or persons who were solicited and who knows what will happen there.
I wonder if LE had KK wear a wire and tape her phone calls to PF and
the other killer(s).

why wouldn't they file a civil case now? I am unaware of any reasons to wait. Seems like this will support their custody case, particularly if monetary damages are such that PF's family have to contribute financially, reducing their financial ability to support baby K. More power to the Berreth's.
PF's family wouldn't have to pay a dime. They aren't being sued - only PF. This suit, in no way affects PF's mother nor PF's sister that are intervening in the custody fight.

Gotcha! I'm not sure about what is allowed for those who are farriers. It may have to be obtained and administered by a veterinarian.
But people could use it illegally as well.

Good theory. Especially if she went straight to LE at the very first opportunity. Like, as soon as she was out of P’s eyeshot. IMO otherwise, no excuse.

I don’t rule out gunshot because it was too “messy,” I think it’s unlikely because it would have been too loud.

I think this was messy, and blood is what they found.
:( I agree

Cool, we can have dif opinions. To me, she did not die from A FATAL INJURY (like a gunshot to the head) & they know this bc someone with intimate knowledge is talking. Jmo
If someone is talking, they’re talking to LE, not CB’s civil lawyers. And LE is going to be extremely limited in what they can tell CB about the evidence they’re finding, because they will probably need her as a witness to testify.

Horrible to even think of it, but this is my feeling, too. On the other hand, it is a touristy place. People might notice. Possibly, closer.
Any body of water would do. IMO

What I don't understand is IF KK is talking and working out a plea deal- why isn't she already arrested? How long can that take? They served warrants in Twin Falls Dec 15th. Something glitchy here.
She may be in protective custody. I think we will find out more soon. I HOPE we will. As always, MOO. See my post below.

I wanna read, do you know the source, tysm.
Haa! With all of the misreporting lately not exactly, I'm sure it was somewhere in the last thread.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if PF returned to the house at a later point, and performed cleanup work.

He must have done a pretty decent job, as the family and law enforcement apparently saw no signs of violence during earlier visits to the house.

You know what looks strange? Judging by the thoroughness of the cleaning PF performed, he comes across as somewhat obsessive-compulsive. (Cleaning and disposing of the body are the only stages he performed well). It would be strange for such a type to leave edibles on the table.

Yes, he likely did a standard murderer's post-crime cleanup, where it isn't immediately visible to the naked eye, certainly not during a cursory search. Then later, with more information and more tools, things like high velocity spatter and even tissue/matter are often located.

I want to see what the circumstances were. She may have been a victim as well. Her close relatives lived in the same town as PF. He may have threatened to harm them if she said a peep to LE about anything. We dont know what the situation was.

But what if she had no idea what he was planning to do? And she was sitting out in the truck when he committed the murder? He could easily blackmail and intimidate her, making her a victim of the crime too.

I may be totally wrong. But at this point, I see her more as a victim that a killer. JMO

It's really really unlikely. It's very hard to get any drugs like that. Many people think hospitals are like the old days when staff could walk through the pharmaceutical area and get things. It's much more difficult these days. It does happen with things like demerol and pre-op drugs, but usually in places like wards where they do cardiac caths not in the ward KK worked in. Typically when people steal those meds they do so by drawing off the drug and then replacing it with water. So you'd have to have the ability to be alone in an area with no chance someone could walk through. Surgical wards are wide open, lots of staff walking through, families are sometimes present and the pre-op meds are sometimes handled by the anesthesiologist (I'm not sure how it works where KK works). Drugs are also locked up, even waste has to be witnessed by someone else and recorded. I'd really be surprised if she were able to attain something like that through her job.
But what about the availability of buying it illegally from someone traveling the rodeo circuit?
