I think he was bent on making it look like she left him.

If he solicited help for her murder, he wanted her dead.
It only seems to me there’d be other methods that might give one a chance to get away with it.
Maybe someone was supposed to drive a car but chickened out. A third unknown (to us) person.
Imo

Or that she was devastated because he left her.

(Sorry - quoting own post)

In fact, I reckon he spent months enjoying imagining telling his tale of woe to the police, his family and acquaintances. And in his mind, he heard them say, “Gosh, you put up with a lot. I’m surprised you stuck it out that long. No, of course it’s not your fault she couldn’t handle you calling it a day.”

I don’t know. I wanted to look but it seems you need a login to search Colorado court records. (I could be wrong, I just did a quick glance.) side note, Idaho court records are publicly available.

Local media would be reporting his past, I think.

Y'know, if it were absolutely anyone else on the planet, I would argue that there's no way a person who took months carefully plotting and planning the murder would arrive at this as their master plan, given the complicated and messy clean-up it would involve.

However, this is PF we're talking about, so yeah...I can see it.

What, did the guy sit glued to the tube for months binge-watching movies on the Lifetime channel to help him brainstorm?

It boggles the mind.

The only part of his plan that appears to have worked (so far) is the concealment of KB's body. I haven't given up hope that she will be found. Because, again, this is PF we're talking about.

JMO.

I can’t stop thinking that even though he wanted her gone and we know he solicited others to make that happen, he ultimately acted without a lot of forethought. I’m wondering if something triggered him to act before he had a fully thought out plan. Surely he would have hidden one of her vehicles if he had prepared at all! MOO

I’m thinking if they have KK at Sonic, they have her in many other places.

I would assume they have her vehicle all the way from Twin Falls to Woodland Park / Florrisant, and ALL the way back, with possibly some surveillance cam shots of the Gooding, ID area, unless she drove around there in the dark...

I'm wondering that too. And WHY on a holiday?

Welcome Thunderdog, Thanks for your lovely first post.:):):)
I was being a smart a--, and now feel I hurt mustloveco, with my joke.:(
Including a request from a first post, must encourage mustloveco to reply.

I think mustloveco is serious. Don’t like to see anyone upset or hurt.

Forgive me if this has been theorised and I missed it.

What if PF did the deed that day (he hadn’t been successful in recruiting an accomplice). He’s visited by one of his long-standing/long-distance Friends-with-Benefits. He knows she would do anything for him. She knows what an awful time he’s been having with this witch of a fiancée.

He comes to her in pieces. “Oh baby, I’ve done something terrible. I can’t even tell you, you’ll hate me, you’ll never want to see me again.”

“No PF, nothing you’ve done would make me hate you. I love you, I want us to be together.”

He tells her. Says it was an accident/crime of passion, knowing she’ll help him clean up so he won’t go to prison and they can at last be together.

Just theorising.

She would qualify for the Stupidity Award of 2018

Hopefully they come back and read these posts (even if quietly) to see that it was meant as a joke. Or maybe they are just busy with life and will be back! Hopefully.

Agreed.
And on T-giving... lots of people are calling/texting relatives and friends.
One would think he'd pick a day when it was a normal weekend with not much going on.

Longtime lurker first time poster
I wonder if maybe PF wanted rid of KB for a while hence the solicitation charges but panicked when he found out that KK was coming to Colorado and killed KB spur of the moment to to tie up loose ends before KK arrived.
Another thought I had was if PF dumped something relating to KBs murder that day what does that say about his ability to actually mastermind a murder ploy as complex as this one appears.Maybe PF is so arrogant he thought he was smarter than law enforcement or is it possible that he wasn’t the mastermind and when left to his own devices did something stupid and dumped evidence pointing to the fact the KB was deceased ?

I really can’t see a brutally violent (bloody) death done in her home for a long-planned crime, where the intent seemed to be to make it look like she took off traveling.

Unless things went terribly awry from whatever on earth the plan was. But it makes no sense to kill someone in such a manner as is being described by many and then remove the body. Why not leave her there to be found as a break-in/home invasion murder? Break some furniture, steal some items etc...all of that is less risky than carrying a body out and driving around with it. Exactly! And how many cars were there during all this suspected cleanup? PK's truck, maybe even KK's vehicle. 10 days is a long time though. Do we know for sure that her vehicles did not move at all during this time?

Yeah, there's a huge OOPS there

Or else we're expected to believe KB decided to hitchhike to Moses Lake or Sandpoint and leave her car behind to put everyone off the trail.

Maybe LE did not find physical proof of death at all...maybe they have a verbal description of the murder, from KK or someone else. And maybe whatever they did find at her home confimed the story told by the witness.

It might be that it had to be T-Day to get those few extra days. Make sure KB is going to be in CO & everyone else (if any) have time to coordinate their schedules, etc.
I’m sure if he asked KB/baby to get a tree or go to dinner it was nothing more than to keep her from making plans.
He sure wouldn’t want out of town help arriving only to find the planned victim was out of town.

Aww, I hope she’s not hurt. Her moment by moment info is priceless.

Yes. Physical evidence confirming what was told to them by someone who is cooperating.

I think @mustloveco knows you were kidding. She’s probably just busy and didn’t realize we wouldn’t be sure if she was joking too.

This is exactly what I’ve posted a few times.
Someone knows something. Info must be verified.
The more I think about this the more I think someone was in KB’s home, ready to attack her after she put the baby down, whatever her routine was, for that. Meaning, did she set the carrier on a counter or floor, put the baby in a play pen/crib, etc.
I thinks she was killed quickly & P left with the baby immediately after.
