I’m sorry. Idk P.
Do you? I can’t find where he’s diagnosed as a narc’ & I certainly have found no info indicating he would hurt his daughter.
We all think KB was a brilliant, beautiful young woman, agree?
IMO, it demeans her to imply she would be involved with a man the way P has been described. Jmo

Narcissists are extremely good at disguising themselves when they pick a victim. He is curiously available, and yet unavailable.

Love -bombing is such an apt term: The victim is deluged with positive attention, their lives coincide so well, he is everything a woman like her could want. It's no fault of hers that he fulfills her every wish for the future. Except it isnt true. And he gets great satisfaction knowing he's conned her.

Then the devaluation starts and she starts to question him and herself.

I can see PF as a narcissist who manipulated KB, but she was starting to see through the games.

Farriers Registration Council : What is a Farrier?

I’ve posted this before. I think P might be both.

Thought:

Possibly the R’s know KK’s lawyer, such a small town, it would seem they are acquainted, imo. Maybe they are helping him, he might be under a gag of some type.
There’s little (if any) reason for them to have interest in
KK, IMO. It seems they’re so desperately clear KK, before she’s charged with a crime. Jmo

Hmmm. I am going to do some research on farriers and blacksmiths. I'm a city dweller, so when I think "blacksmith", in my mind I see an old picture from the 1800s. Would a farrier use a forge to custom fit horseshoes? How is that done? Off to Google.

From Wikipedia:
"A farrier is a specialist in equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of horses' hooves and the placing of shoes on their hooves, if necessary. A farrier combines some blacksmith's skills (fabricating, adapting, and adjusting metal shoes) with some veterinarian's skills (knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the lower limb) to care for horses' feet."

Do you know IN? Respectfully, you have repeatedly said she's obsessed, stalker and that you know her type. And you think it is demeaning to KB that she would be with someone that betrayed her trust and took her life???? That's not a poor reflection on her...she's the victim.

Exactly. If knowing a type makes our opinions more valid, well trust me when I say that I know PF’s type.

In the state of Colorado, solicitation is a companion charge to a felony (such as first degree murder). Any sentence for solicitation is added onto the end of the sentence for the felony. The person being solicited cannot be charged with the solicitation.

I also recall reading that the solicitation charge requires more than just asking someone to kill someone else. If true, that's pretty interesting. What besides payment would qualify as more than just requesting a murder?

From Merriam-Webster:

Farrier is now usually applied specifically to a blacksmith who specializes in shoeing horses, a skill that requires not only the ability to shape and fit horseshoes, but also the ability to clean, trim, and shape a horse's hooves. When "farrier" first appeared in English (as "ferrour"), it referred to someone who not only shoed horses, but who provided general veterinary care for them as well. Middle English "ferrour" was borrowed from Anglo-French ferrour (a blacksmith who shoes horses), a noun derived from the verb "ferrer" ("to shoe horses"). These Anglo-French words can be traced back ultimately to Latin ferrum, meaning "iron."

In the Watts' case, when NK went to media with her story, LE did not make a statement.
Similarly here, LE may not make any statements about R's and their media interviews.
We will probably go 'round in circles' wondering.
MOO.

Watts LEs dumped the discovery documents. Much better than commenting on each bit of media sensationalism.

I think she's in Mexico. ;)
I think KKL was named as a potential witness by a gentleman who is an attorney and officer of the court, and his spouse who is a paralegal employed in his office. I'm sure she was contacted and interviewed, perhaps more than once. I think if she actually did have any possibility of information useful to the prosecution, she will be called again for informal sworn testimony, or a statement. Then I think that if she has anything at all, either the prosecution or the defense will call her to the stand in the trial. Whichever side ddidn't call her will grill hder, badger her, imply that she is all of the things that you people are calling her, and try as hard as possible to make her cry. In between every badgering, they will pepper her with the same questions over and over. Then, they will take everything that she said and thow it back at her. Every little nuance of discrepancy will become a major issue. Then, in the redirect phrase, the side that called her will gently coax her along in trying to refute the lies that have just been crfeated about her, while all the while the other side is jumping up and objecting to everything she says. Finally, it will be over and the judge will thank her for her time. After it's over, she will hear that the jury paid no attention to her story at all, but they admired her courage. Then, the civil trial will start moving forward and she will go through it all again, except she will have to give at least two depositions in order for them to have anough petty ammunition to badger her into total humility. The judge will thank hder for her toime and she will slither out of tghe courtroom, relieved that she can finally start to get her life back.

BBM: Gardener, I completely missed this info...where is the forge? TIA!
*ETA: Has it been searched, do you know?
He has been called both a Farrier and Blacksmith by the MSM. I think he calls himself a farrier though-- someone who shoes hoofed animals and takes care of their feet. So I am basing my comment about him having access to a forge on that. I saw someone comment they saw a picture of PF using a portable forge but I have not seen that picture. I do not know if the forge was searched or if it is a portable one. My speculation only is that if a witness (KK?) told LE that PF used his forge to dispose of evidence or to dispose of KB then that info could have been the probable cause for the search of his mother's ranch. If he has one, hopefully it was impounded to be tested for evidence. MOO.
I think this is the photo, isn't it?

Idaho couple shares more on why they went to authorities in Kelsey Berreth case

SEABBMFFFAA:

  • "She was in love with him from a very young age," Patty Rockstahl said, adding, "She was very vulnerable and I think she cared for him, and he took advantage of that… He was her first love, I understand, and… he had a hold on her."
  • "Krystal was so scared, he was so angry that he said things that made Krystal think he had killed before. So of course, she's going to be terrified," Joe Rockstahl said.
  • "Is Krystal Lee a murderer?" Battiste asked. "I don't believe so. I don't," Patty said.
  • "Why would Krystal Lee, a nurse with children, help Patrick Frazee cover up the murder of his fiancée?" Battiste asked. "I think she was afraid and I think she got in over her head," Patty said. "She was in love with Patrick and we've all heard the stories of what people will do for love."
  • The Rockstahls have never met Lee in person.

Modern farriers do not fabricate their shoes. Mass manufactured ones are of much better quality, come in a variety of shapes for special needs, and last many times longer. Every other part of the description is pretty accurate. Smart horse owners never watch a farrier work on their horse. Being shoed is to a horse like chalk and the kindergarten blackboard.......you have no idea when the horse will panic; and the farrier can't stop in the middle of the process. a loose or crooked shoe can disable a horse quickly, so badly that it will have to be put down. A slap or a poke, even with a tool, is no different to the horse than it's owner ripping on the cinch to make it exhale.

Literally ALL of the people involved in this mess can safely be considered "middle-class" in both annual income and net worth. A few days of postings back some cited a credit rating for an individual of 500, and someone posted "That low?" Credit scores are based on points allocated for things that show stability, like home ownership; and primarily points for exactly how you pay back your credit obligations. If you don't own your own home, or just recently bought it, and pay cash for everything, your score is going to be "that low". No debts, no credit.
So, it is extremely doubtful that The disappearance had anything to do with money, finances, child support, etc.
Likewise.....if a person who has, within the last year, extended $182,900 of his/her hard earned life savings to finance a daughter;s home, says the daughter is not getting married because he can't afford a home yet.....then I say that person really didn't think out that answer very well, and mispoke. We all do it some times, especially under duress.

1. I thought I had seen that PF took out some loans in 2016? Can anyone find that? It was mentioned around the same place as the credit score in the threads. If he took on debt and has a credit score of 500 it's because he didn't do a good job paying that debt back. MOO.

2. Where is the proof that KB's parents purchased her home for her? Her house was in her name only and she paid the mortgage and the taxes. The loan was simply transferred to an LLC her family managed. We have had extensive conversations about this-- I think some have come to the conclusion that KB's parents bought her home for her based only on that LLC transfer. But there are other reasons to do that-- one being because she was in a high-risk job and wanted to protect her assets. Another possible reason for the LLC is that the townhouse was bought as an investment property and she planned to rent it out in the future or flip it when the market went up. MOO.

3. I believe KB's mother chose her words very carefully in her interviews and I don't agree that she misspoke on the state of PF and KB's relationship as CB and KB thought it to be. I believe that PF might have given the price of cattle as an excuse to not purchase a home with KB, however. MOO.
