Watts LEs dumped the discovery documents. Much better than commenting on each bit of media sensationalism.
ITA. I cannot wait to see the docs.

Modern farriers do not fabricate their shoes. Mass manufactured ones are of much better quality, come in a variety of shapes for special needs, and last many times longer. Every other part of the description is pretty accurate. Smart horse owners never watch a farrier work on their horse. Being shoed is to a horse like chalk and the kindergarten blackboard.......you have no idea when the horse will panic; and the farrier can't stop in the middle of the process. a loose or crooked shoe can disable a horse quickly, so badly that it will have to be put down. A slap or a poke, even with a tool, is no different to the horse than it's owner ripping on the cinch to make it exhale.
Well I certainly wouldn’t want to watch this guy working on my horse (if I had one).

“Is it normal that he’s smacking Ed (that would be his name) with a rasp?”

That story about him getting kicked in the head, still brings a smile to my face.

If this was a Disney movie, I’d bet that all the animals on his “ranch” would be singing when he was hauled away.

1. I thought I had seen that PF took out some loans in 2016? Can anyone find that? It was mentioned around the same place as the credit score in the threads. If he took on debt and has a credit score of 500 it's because he didn't do a good job paying that debt back. MOO.

2. Where is the proof that KB's parents purchased her home for her? Her house was in her name only and she paid the mortgage and the taxes. The loan was simply transferred to an LLC her family managed. We have had extensive conversations about this-- I think some have come to the conclusion that KB's parents bought her home for her based only on that LLC transfer. But there are other reasons to do that-- one being because she was in a high-risk job and wanted to protect her assets. Another possible reason for the LLC is that the townhouse was bought as an investment property and she planned to rent it out in the future or flip it when the market went up. MOO.

3. I believe KB's mother chose her words very carefully in her interviews and I don't agree that she misspoke on the state of PF and KB's relationship as CB and KB thought it to be. I believe that PF might have given the price of cattle as an excuse to not purchase a home with KB, however. MOO.

Any owner who can watch their panicked child get stitches without disliking the doctor would probably enjoy watching a farrier work. I have done it, but I have never owned a horse. It's kind of like watching an artistic glass blower in a gallery. Lots of skill, lots of training, and a love of seeing a happy horse in new shoes that fit right.

Thank you, that is what I expected: that modern farriers would use pre-manufactured shoes, and only use a forge to make small alterations. I was particularly curious about the forges, because of some discussion about incineration, to put it as delicately as I can.

Dave, I get it. I feel like a lone wolf.
Briefly, in my town, population 100k, a 43 yo son of very wealthy elderly parents was accused of murdering them, to inherit. He was already a millionaire, living a simple life.
He didn’t appear to need money. Blah, blah. He was held on county lock up three years. Headlines were awful in local paper. He never talked. Guess what? 3 years later, a FULL confession from the real killer. A transient.
Yet, the GJ indicted the son based on evidence presented.
Just sayin......

Did he have a lawyer who spoke for him?

ADMIN NOTE:

Just want to point out that, to our knowledge, PF has not been diagnosed with any psychiatric condition or personality disorder.

Any discussion related to narcissism and psychopathy is strictly individual members' speculative opinion and is not based on any known fact in this case.

I think KKL was named as a potential witness by a gentleman who is an attorney and officer of the court, and his spouse who is a paralegal employed in his office. I'm sure she was contacted and interviewed, perhaps more than once. I think if she actually did have any possibility of information useful to the prosecution, she will be called again for informal sworn testimony, or a statement. Then I think that if she has anything at all, either the prosecution or the defense will call her to the stand in the trial. Whichever side ddidn't call her will grill hder, badger her, imply that she is all of the things that you people are calling her, and try as hard as possible to make her cry. In between every badgering, they will pepper her with the same questions over and over. Then, they will take everything that she said and thow it back at her. Every little nuance of discrepancy will become a major issue. Then, in the redirect phrase, the side that called her will gently coax her along in trying to refute the lies that have just been crfeated about her, while all the while the other side is jumping up and objecting to everything she says. Finally, it will be over and the judge will thank her for her time. After it's over, she will hear that the jury paid no attention to her story at all, but they admired her courage. Then, the civil trial will start moving forward and she will go through it all again, except she will have to give at least two depositions in order for them to have anough petty ammunition to badger her into total humility. The judge will thank hder for her toime and she will slither out of tghe courtroom, relieved that she can finally start to get her life back.

KK and Patrick have been in a relationship for years.

KK used her credit card on Nov 24 at the Woodland Park Sonic. The police took hours of video from Sonic.

On Nov 25, Kelsey's phone was driven to Gooding, Idaho which is 30 minutes from KK's home.

KK is far more than a just a witness.

Idaho couple shares more on why they went to authorities in Kelsey Berreth case

SEABBMFFFAA:

  • "She was in love with him from a very young age," Patty Rockstahl said, adding, "She was very vulnerable and I think she cared for him, and he took advantage of that… He was her first love, I understand, and… he had a hold on her."
  • "Krystal was so scared, he was so angry that he said things that made Krystal think he had killed before. So of course, she's going to be terrified," Joe Rockstahl said.
  • "Is Krystal Lee a murderer?" Battiste asked. "I don't believe so. I don't," Patty said.
  • "Why would Krystal Lee, a nurse with children, help Patrick Frazee cover up the murder of his fiancée?" Battiste asked. "I think she was afraid and I think she got in over her head," Patty said. "She was in love with Patrick and we've all heard the stories of what people will do for love."
  • The Rockstahls have never met Lee in person.

You know what? I think these people want KK to be charged. Or, they suspect much more than they’re saying.

Yes, most of the rasps and files that a farrier uses are one-sided, and rounded on the clean side to save wear and tear on the farrier's hands. The handles are softer, grippable wood. A slap with the clean side, or a poke with the butt of the handle, is appropriate and will not bruise or mark the horse.
Getting kicked in the face is any horse person's worst nightmare. A high percentage of the time, it's fatal. Otherwise, having part of your facial bone structure rammed into you brain cavity is going to disable you for life. Do you remember the government-fighting Bundy boys? Ammon was the one that looked like a country music performer, while Mel was the one that had been kicked by a horse.

It has to be one of the hardest jobs in the world.
As is farming/ranching, imo. One has no control over the elements, they can only make the best of each day.

MG, yup. Pretty common to tap a horse with an open palm or rasp, got to get them “squared up” & help them off of you. A three legged horse loves leaning on a person, lol.
Moo

It’s a shame the horse wasn’t successful, as Kelsey would still be alive.

Unlucky.

I do not believe a single word that is said in the RR interviews, and therefore have not, and will not be making any comment about them or about the information contained in the interviews. My comments about KKL are ALL information that was published before November 22, 2019 and my personal experience as a prosecution witness in felony criminal trial (bank robbery) and defense witness in major lawsuit (product liability).

I think they want to be in People magazine like the KB case is.
