I don’t sway easily & I don’t expect anyone to sway.
IMO, there has been a lot of posts about P that are unfounded.
I’ve not found any evidence he’s destitute & desperately needs money, that he must live with his mom because he has no money, for example.
All of us with horses love our farrier. If you have a horse with hoof problems, you have nothing.
IMO, a farrier has unlimited income potential, once he establishes his biz.
The abuse allegations....well, visit a dude ranch, see what goes on. How you think a 2y.o. Colt gets broke in one day, advertised “anyone can ride, no experience needed”. Not because a cowboy fed him Sugar cubes and rubbed his nose. Jmo
It was another horse person who accused him of animal abuse and, if it's true, there's no excuse for it, even if others do it.
That may be true that he could make a lot of money in his field but, I'll bet, he couldn't afford a ranch like Ma has and he also had built in child care services. I would guess he's pretty set up at that ranch, too, in terms of his business. If he had complete freedom, 38 acres and money in his pocket, why move? I don't think there was indication he intended to live with Kelsey and the baby, in their own home. Oh, and, btw, Kelsey's mom said they'd delayed getting married and living together because he had some financial setbacks due to a poor economy. He may have used that excuse with Kelsey but I'm not buying it. If it was just money, he could have moved into Kelsey's townhouse and worked at the ranch but he chose to live there because he was dug in and had it good, imho.
