First she lied, then she talked.

She was so torn up about what she had seen, what she had failed to do, and what she covered up, that she was focused on self preservation.

What a wonderful person.
Haha. ITA

Cripple Creek. HMMMMMM.
Isn't there strange DNA at Kelsey's?
I wonder who's it is.
I expect the unknown DNA will belong to KB's mother and brother who were staying there, and using that bathroom.

We have been well versed by the lawyer's here who give so much of their time. But many of us will look at all those involved and label them forever as

brutal, barbaric, barbarous, brutish, savage, vicious, wicked, cruel, nasty, ruthless, merciless, villainous, murderous, heinous, nefarious, monstrous, base, low, lowdown, vile, inhuman, infernal, dark, black, black-hearted, fiendish, hellish, diabolical, ghastly, horrible,
abominable, outrageous, offensive, hateful, disgusting, despicable, contemptible, loathsome, odious, revolting, repellent, repugnant, abhorrent, harrowing, nightmarish, gruesome, grisly, sickening, nauseating, horrifying, hideous, unspeakable, unforgivable, intolerable, beyond the pale, scandalous, execrable human beings.

The more I hear, the more I think of these words above to be used to describe so many that have been involved in this case.

Yeah, not a crime perhaps.

Again, my opinion.
Yes. Feels like reading a thesaurus.
Any of those will do!

So, just jumping in and off your post, I guess I'd like to take a minute to speak to that point.
I've seen similar sentiments expressed on the thread re: Dan May, and people's understandable feelings of dismay re: the deal he proffered to KK.
I say understandable because I share those exact same feelings you and countless others here have expressed.

Frankly, the fact that KK received such a sweetie beauty of a deal sticks in my craw,
and I don't even know what a craw is.

KK doesn't deserve a pass.
But for all intents and purposes, she's been given a pass.
Life doesn't always hand us what we deserve.

They say justice is blind.
In this case, Lady Justice had to strap on her blindfold w/ regard to KK's actions.
It had to be done.

Because PF must, must, MUST be made to pay for his savage, vicious snuffing out of KB's precious life's breath. PF took everything from KB. Everything. And he did it in a cruel, barbaric and bestial way.

PF is evil incarnate. I really believe that.
Karma is a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and it will catch KK where it hurts I'm sure

I think Dan May recognizes the extreme danger that PF poses to society, and he made the determination that PF had to be locked away forever at any cost, both for the safety of society as a whole and as a just punishment for his ferocious extinguishing of KB's light.

I'll bet you anything that Dan May absolutely hated having to make that deal with that she-devil.
As much as this deal sticks in my craw and yours, too, probably, I'll bet it sticks in Dan's even more.
But he knows what the overarching imperative he's been tasked with is, and that's to make sure PF pays for his actions.

PF plotted KB's murder.
PF solicited KB's murder.
PF executed KB's murder.
With a baseball bat. A baseball bat!

Dan May is going to eviscerate PF in the courtroom.
Dan is going to bury PF, but he needs KK's cooperation and testimony to do it.
KK is the only one holding the magic shovel.

Frazeeing PF is the real imperative here. So, I swallow the bile that rises in my throat every time I think of KK walking out of the courthouse a free woman, because right on the heels of that thought is the absolute conviction that Dan May is going to ensure that PF never draws a free breath for the rest of his unnatural, unholy life, which hopefully won't be a long one.

For me, that's enough.

Here endeth the manifesto.
Karma is a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 and KK will find that out I am sure

Yeah, it seems to happen in a lot of cases.

They find unknown DNA, and the defense attempts to use that to form an alternate theory.

It’s not unusual.

They probably shaved at the sink. Imo

She still isn't safe from danger. So many people out there hate her, and there are a lot of crazy people in the world. Imo

Personally, I hope she isn't safe. I suspect, however, she will be fine. The infamous Tot Mom, Casey Anthony, is proof that it's possible.

I'm inclined to think that the witness protection program might be the cherry on top of the sweet deal she scored. I'd be surprised if her fancy attorney hasn't secured it.

imo

Yes. Here it is. Did you have a specific observation/theory to share?

At first I took that to be KB's brother/father/mother since they were/stayed in KB's condo.....but when it says "unknown"...... I'm not so sure. (could be/possible) that while they were rushing to get the warrant out, they did not have the specifics on the DNA of those who were reported to have been in the house..... one of those unknowns since it excludes PF but not any of the Berreths.

I'm still not convinced PF was present during Kelsey's murder. I think KB was drugged, kept alive until KK came to town and KK killed her. All PF did was dispose of the body. iow, he cleaned up KK's mess, not the other way around.

JMO

I would certainly like to know when he went back and removed the body. Clearly, that did not happen in broad daylight.

I guess it is possible he held her captive and then she is the one who did the beating upon her arrival.

Since nothing about this case follows typical human behavior, I could entertain this possibility. I certainly can see KK distancing herself as much as possible.

PF is very evil. I don't know what exactly KK's involvement is anymore but to kill the mother of your child with a baseball bat? Beating someone to death is how the mafia killed people that "wronged them". What a very brutal way to kill someone, especially someone that you shared a child with.

WW, that is so frighteningly true.

That's the central point: PF is very evil.

He has to pay for what he did to KB.

JMO.

Did he deliberately send her out in the middle of the night to a remote dark pasture to “attend to some cows”.?

I find this issue to be very weird. Why on earth would she have gone? He wasn’t all that sick that night. Was she supposed to meet with an accident there or encouter someone else who was going to murder her?

She was out there for 3 hours in the dark
Very weird indeed. I also wonder if this was a murder plot that didn’t pan out in the middle of the night.
I’m also wondering where baby K was since I thought she was with KB in the early hours of Nov 22. Did KB bring her in the car seat, sleeping? Not accusing KB, rather noting again how incredibly awful PF is to make KB go “help” him in the middle of the night.

  • #172
One thing that sticks with me about KK involvement. Was the third attempt to murder poor KB. She actually purchased a bat and then drove all the way to CO. Mind you to murder a young mother, With a frickin baseball bat up close and personal. What goes through the mind to even consider doing that is just beyond me. Sure she came to her senses and decided she couldn't do it. But just the thought process to me is soo despicable...MOO

Not attacking due to him not showing up, but really...his videos and mode of "reporting"
I find abhorrent.
I started to follow him,for a New York Minute.

Unknown male and female could be her parents, but I think they said they did DNA on the parents, if I remember correctly, and I am sure the brother probably did one also, to rule out any male. They arrested Krystal and got DNA from her. So, who could the male and female be? Well, we could say friends were visiting, perhaps a couple, that had to use the restroom during their visit.

Or did PF have help from a male and female that day? I wonder how old this DNA is? Especially since nurse Ratchett did such a thorough clean up of the crime scene. Who else would have been at her condo just before or after her murder? Things that make you go hhhhmmmm.

  • #175
I expect the unknown DNA will belong to KB's mother and brother who were staying there, and using that bathroom.

Did they not test her brother/dad? Seems like they’d wish to eliminate them from the profile.
Let me guess....the nurse brought it in.

Might belong to LE.

  • #176
Is it possible more people than just PF were present during Kelsey's murder ?
Not sure why I'm wondering.
But it feels like it's complicated.... just more persons crawling out from the woodwork.
Either during or shortly after, excluding her parents and brother.

Krystal I believe had a DNA test done, right? She was arrested and had it done, if I remember from yesterday correctly. Although, they aren't focusing on the female one- they seem to know who that belongs to- probably Krystal herself, but who's the mystery male?

She still isn't safe from danger. So many people out there hate her, and there are a lot of crazy people in the world. Imo
Hope for her sake there are enough people unlike her that would report any threats. If there are any.

  • #178
I don't think anyone outside of her area would even recognize her.

KK, her friend, and the female prosecutor look very similar,--Swedish, maybe.
To me she has very distinct features. I don't think she looks anything like her friend or the prosecutor, except maybe the color of her hair.
There was an interesting video that was posted of an interview with a Bob something on HLN, I think, where he talked about her maybe needing to change her name and go into hiding. I cant remember his last name.
Even though people have never met Kelsey or any of those involved in this horrible murder, there are some that are very passionate about this crime. Just look at some of the comments on these threads.
Some people get even more emotional since KK is getting off so easy, which adds more to the hatred. Imo

Ok, random thing....but from the Misc. info about KB above, a Starbucks employee said she would go there once a week for a Chai Latte. Ha! Take that KK and PF, her fave drink may not have even been a Caramel Machiato!

Ok, sorry, just saw that and thought of yet another stupid hole in the story.
Oh, you are so right! Great job- I think many of us forgot about that, I know I did!

So what about those cinnamon rolls? Did KK fail to dispose of them or were they a snack for her during her hours long cleaning up of KB's blood?

No, the c.r. were covered with aluminum foil. Allegedly, the foil had blood splatter on it, and the foil was thrown away by KK.
