It's all just a guess at this point, isn't it?

But, I'd go with the she's always had the hots for him, and experienced great sadness when her life went a different direction, but never forgot the emotional thrill he gave her. She became depressed/bummed/lost after her divorce from CL and the weight gain and stagnant life got to be too much. PF comes back into her life and she see's rainbows, hot romance and a possible future. All those initial "girl in love" feelings came flooding back.

It's truly amazing, and frightening, how much control a narc can have over you...and how easily it is to wear blinders, under the right circumstances.

Still - murder solicitation?!? At what point does that red flag become a high intensity sunspot? She had plenty of opportunity to run from this, and she chose not to.

So, IMO, she's either a crazed, love-lorn woman, or evil. Probably a bit of both.

MOO - I think she's the narc (with psychopathic traits) and he's a sociopath/psychopath. Narcs are concerned with physical appearance and being admired. He shows no signs of that or the attention seeking. Both are extremely manipulative and controlling personality types and liars. The number one pass time between a couple like that would scheming. I think you're right about the "girl in love" because narcs idealize before they devalue and discard and she was probably in the ideal love phase, putting him him on a pedestal. Just imagine the pathology between these two. Poor Kelsey, it was like Satan, himself, was swirling around her and her baby girl.

BBM:

With any luck, Dan May is thinking he'd like to stick a needle in PF's arm.

PF ain't walking. Mostly because he hasn't got a leg left to stand on.

PF is toast. Extra crispy, burnt toast, with any luck.
He is well and truly frazeed.
Dan's gonna' get him.

I'm absolutely certain of it.
It's all over but the shoutin.'

I'll stick around for that part, though, because I like the thought of listening to PF's screams.

JMO.

I was reading about another bludgeoning case, today, and a baseball bat was used. In closing, the prosecutor kept slamming it onto the table, asking the jury to imagine that being the victim's head. I'm sure that made an effective impression on the jury. Defendants were convicted.

I have to ask. Are totebags those huge plastic bags with handles that you can transport with a truck? Like Bigbag. I have been googling for 2 days and all google is showing me are cute little handbags fore women and I said no way, that can´t be it.

I think the article that called it a 'tote bag' was a mistake.

If you are talking about where the body was kept, and what it was burned in, I think it was a plastic tote, not a tote bag. [like this one but bigger?]

I actually took it to mean something akin to a DUFFLE BAG with handles on it for carrying. Tote bags would normally be made out of a strong fiber material imo.

Thank you, I tried really hard before I asked.

I am curious now, because the original articles said black plastic tote, IIRC. Then the most recent article said 'tote bag.'

Tote Bag makes the most sense, in terms of burning it.

If PF had access to the Nash Ranch and nobody was around, I can't figure out why he wouldn't just bury the body on that property. Hiding it in their barn so that he could wait until KK got there is really bizarre to me.
Who owns the Nash Ranch and do we know how PF has knowledge or access to it?

Again, you misquoted him. He said ' knows he CAN win.'

Not 'knows he WILL win.'

There is a big difference between those ^^ two statements.

Words matter.

KKL described him position the hay forks of the tractor, then using a ladder to climb the hay and crawl on his hands and knees across the tops of the bales to where the toote was, then he stood up and lifted it onto the hay forks. The question is, after it sat for two days on top of the haystack rotting the hay, how did a 220 lb man lift 37 lbs of tote , 110 lbs of body, and a bunch of miscellaneous weights without sinking deep into the rotted hay?
There likely was no rotting hay since the tote/body had only
been there for 2 days.
Haven't heard what type bales they were- small 2 string square bales? these usually weigh 35-70 lbs. each depending on type
of hay and method of baling. Loose baled or compressed?

Or were they 3 string larger bales- 90-135 lbs. each. ??

Or were they round rolls, much larger and usually wrapped
in protective covering. ??

there would have been no problem maneuvering over the top
of stacked bales, regardless of size. Stacked hay is pretty firm.
There 'may' have been slight discoloration of the affected bales
where the tote sat but I question this also because of the short
time the tote was there AND the bale(s) where the tote sat
were the ones on the 'outside' of the large stack. In other words
these top bales were exposed to air and had been curing more
than inside bales. IME, bales do not discolor from something
sitting on them for two days unless hay was put up very wet
and had not cured at all. Curing is when moisture is evaporated
or dried out of hay. Most ranchers/farmers do not stack damp
or uncured hay knowingly due to chance of smoldering and fire
from spontaneous combustion. This is how barns full of hay
burn down. Moisture content of baled hay is watched carefully
even when transported. My stacked hay is trucked, sometimes
2,000 miles, before it comes to my barn. And that's stacked
high and tight in a semi.
I'd really like to see pictures of this 'darkened' hay. More likely,
imo, that the tote leaked body fluids onto the hay if the tote
was not leakproof.

Arson plays a part here because, imo, as I mentioned before many
homicidal perps have a special fascination with fire. Many juveniles who start out their lifelong crime sprees begin with arson.
In PF's mind, the act of burning her body totally extinguished
her from his mind. All the tension, stress and anguish that he
felt KB caused him could be erased if she were burned up.
Gone. Forever. In HIS MIND.

For those asking, KK’s statement to investigators about buying the baby clothing and toys, as well as the whole pizza/nap thing, is mentioned here.

Krystal said she had come out here and she had brought a T-shirt and some little toys for Kaylee.”

After the fire, Slater said Lee told him Frazee told her to take a nap. She told Slater he brought her two slices of pizza and an Ibuprofen because she had a headache.

Courtroom updates: Preliminary hearing for Patrick Frazee, who is accused of killing Kelsey Berreth
She had to buy her own Sonic food, and then after all that other stuff she did, PF brought her two slices of pizza....Patrick Frazee is a cheap date......moo

Don't know who owns it today but I think that's where PF had
an agreement to store his cow hay for his herd. This would
give him access to the hay barns whenever he wanted.
Apparently the leased land where his cows are is not far away.

Good Morning,
That is all correct @enelram. Many times I have thrown something on top of hay such as bags of grain when I had a big delivery until I get a chance to arrange things and there is no such thing as something being on it for maybe 2 days to cause rotting or any discoloration for that matter. And I doubt very much that any rancher would stock wet/damp hay, we all know what can happen with that as you stated.
I have got deliveries where sometimes a couple of bales when I crack them open will have mold in them because somehow when they were baled there was some wetness but at that point it is dry mold and only a couple of bales out of say 100.
I too would like to see pictures of this supposed "darkened " hay.
One thing I noticed when I was out in CO is they do a lot of the big bales over 100 lbs and beautiful nice hay. They also feed horses round bales because it is so dry out there but I would NEVER feed a round bale to horses where I am because of humidity,,,,they use them for cows here.
Also were any pictures released of the red barn where this hay was stored on the Nash Ranch? I did not see any but someone made a comment which led me to believe that they saw a picture?

I’ve followed several “no body murder cases,” and I haven’t come across a single one, that had an arrest this quickly.

There are several that I am following, that have yet to result in charges.

This is spectacularly unusual. I can’t possibly overstate that.

A body helps the case, and this prosecutor is doing everything in his power to win.

As he should.

ITA. It's highly unusual to have an arrest in under 3 weeks even with a body.

LE did their homework and were greatly aided by the sloppiness and stupidity of the perpetrator and his co-conspirator, IMHO.

I agree

The speed and thoroughness with which LE handled this is impressive in my opinion.
