Baby formula, discount diapers, Coke brand soft drinks and one more thing that just won't stick in my brain.

Sorry, already answered. Maybe next time I'll remember the dog food!
Good, TY.

I agree. I think it has been said he purchased formula, diapers and such. No mention of candles or a tote. Yet who knows if that was omitted.

Walmart has some of the best cameras. To me, it looks like he knew it posing for a picture in the baby aisle.

That is just my opinion though.

BBM:

I suspect this to be the case, too.
PF wanted to show he was at Wal-Mart with Baby K that afternoon, since his brilliant plan included telling LE that the last time he saw KB was when he picked up Baby K that day.
He thought he was establishing a fool-proof alibi for the last day KB would be seen alive.

This is exactly the type of bohunk move one expects to see when PF really puts a great deal of what passes for thought into his actions.

Clearly, he put a lot of thought into this crime.
Which probably wasn't a good idea.

Then again, where PF is concerned, "good idea" is an oxymoron.

Not that I have seen. PF requested KB drop him off at the ranch and then she went to buy him medicine and took it to him at the ranch before she returned home. However, I only went by this document for the phone activity times:
https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/04th_Judicial_District/Teller/caseofinterest/2018CR330/002/18-111 Search Warrant.pdf

There may be more details in other documents, I'm not sure. If anyone knows of more calls/texts on Nov 22 that should be added, please let me know. Thanks. :)

does she get to actually drive into the ranch driveway or does she have to drop things off at the locked gate?

Although I didn't find specific reference to the neighbors surveillance of PF, KB, baby K, and flowers at KB's door in the AA, this information was testified to by WPPD Adams at the preliminary hearing on 2/19/19.

Adams testified about the surveillance capturing PF, KB, baby, and flowers at the door at approximately 1pm --using a still photo (Exhibit).

The following tweet and Courtroom update for 2/19 hearing are the only references I've seen confirming flowers captured in surveillance.

Sam Kraemer‏ @SamKraemerTV

State gives him another still of that neighbor’s surveillance. He says it shows Berreth, Kaylee, Frazee & her flowers out front of Kelsey’s door around 1 p.m. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee
8:42 AM - 19 Feb 2019 pst

ETA: Per WPPD Officer Adams testimony at preliminary hearing 2/19/19

Yes, that was it. It's stuck with me as being true because they were both seeing driving by the furniture store right before that time. And the text the night before or was it that morning, said I will take the baby and go do some errands while you get ready. And that is what happened immediately following her with a flowers and fit in with him driving and her driving past the furniture store. I'll have to relook at it but it just fit.

ETA I think the baby exchange was at 12:40 almost. That would explain he perhaps drove away and she texted him to perhaps get pecans because she had forgot to get them. That would make sense with everything as far as the furniture store surveillance. Now knowing especially that the furniture store is only two tenths of a mile from her house.

We know they were both caught on camera driving towards the house just a few minutes before then, and would have arrived at the house and possibly met at the doorway at the same exact time. Then he just turned around and left with the baby..

Lol. Good question!

KB was obviously a very private person. Same with PF’s family. What little we know about KB was that in spite of being private she was brave. Being a pilot isn’t something you aspire to if you aren’t brave. PF can’t say the same. He’s been coddled and sheltered by his family and the whole damn town his whole life. Brave is not a word that I would use for KKL- at best she’s a cowardly liar at worst...she willingly destroyed KBs life and that of her child and family. I’m just hoping with all my heart the prosecution can prove and show beyond a shadow of a doubt that she was no where near KB when KB was savagely murdered bc as we have all said, while not many of us like PF, he could walk if the prosecution can’t solidify where she was at crucial points. I feel better about the CCTV stuff. But I hope the prosecution knows they need to show the jury that KKL wasn’t there. Couldn’t have committed the actual murder

It’s quite amazing if you think about it, and by amazing, I mean stunningly stupid.

He says he last saw Kelsey when he picked up the baby. He goes to Walmart and is caught on camera. Perfect, that fits.

But then he returns to the house. Now, he didn’t know about the camera, so fair enough.

But then he leaves with her damn cell phone, and its right next to his.

He didn’t think to shut it off.

He didn’t think about the implication of his phone being in the area of her house, for two hours after he last claimed to have seen her.

“Whoops” should be his nickname.

Don't go to that trouble for me. Busy boy regardless... And then to the father figure's...
I already did, and edited my post. Courtroom reporting indicates that PF called his mother at 4:24 PM and the call pinged off a Woodland Park cell tower. Technology doesn't lie. I'm not 100% caught up on reading these threads, but I recall a discussion about "a little later" a few threads back, and somebody had researched that. I believe that SF2 (PF's brother) had said only "later". And then, of course, the media embellished that statement. If someone else recalls or has a link, I think it would be beneficial to the discussion to repost. TIA. MOO.

I finished watching the Dateline program about Kelsey this a.m. and would just like to say, that I am very angry the FEMALE interviewer didn't bring up the possibility of Postpartum Depression, when that red-faced old fool was talking about drinking! It seems to me, that she had a highly stressful life and was trying to make the best of it all. A new job, long commute, a new baby, moving away from her family, (not to mention putting up with abusive, immature PF) these were major changes in her life.

I think it's pretty clear the interviewers on these shows haven't read half of what people on WS have.

The Dateline show on Kelsey had a good bit of filler and left out something as important as KK driving 800 miles for each one of the "near-misses".

They also let that old coot make statements about Kelsey like they were the gospel....two weeks in alcohol rehab? Please!

Absolutely. Her time of death can be narrowed down to a two hour window on Thanksgiving Day.

Logically, you can narrow it down to a smaller window (time to initiate “game” and cursory blood cleanup), but it doesn’t really matter.

When PF left that house with KB’s phone, she was dead.
Not just blood clean up, but after cleaning himself up he has to calm down to the degree that he can act and seem like nothing out of the ordinary has happened when he leaves her place.

That’s true. He almost certainly showered as well.

it reminds me of when a child or adolescent gets involved "with the wrong crowd" except KK was an adult and PF is not a crowd. Did she somehow regress to an adolescent state in his company? Even that does not easily translate into murder. She does say that she was trying to please him. Patty Hurst? Still weird.

They never left adolescence imo. They are stuck at that age.

  • #413
That’s true. He almost certainly showered as well.
And that probably explains much of the blood in the bathroom as well.

That’s true. He almost certainly showered as well.
Maybe did some laundry as well if his clothing is covered in blood that would take some time at least an hour or so.

I know PF sold the cows, but I wonder about the horses and dogs. I just have a "visual" in my head of Ma hobbling around the ranch feeding whatever animals are left and doing the chores. Wonder if she'll stay there or sell the ranch.

I’m waiting to find out that he went back later and tried to see the surveillance tape from the neighbors. Hey “have the cops been over to check your surveillance footage yet? And am I on it...ahh nevermind forget I asked”

I’m only kidding......or am I?

It’s possible. I think that PF being able to work a washing machine, is probably giving him too much credit.

I think his mommy probably still did his laundry for him, so he might have put his clothes in that tote, and ultimately burned them.

I have heard it both ways. Even so, when one looks at the timeline well... I looked as well because I knew I read it more than once and found an article that says he went home in between and left the baby there and went back... It was Daily Mail so I take it with a bit of a grain of salt but time wise... It could be... Strange, strange case.

This is what I have for that short timeline from the preliminary hearing, and WPPD Adams testimony:

Sam Kraemer‏ @SamKraemerTV
Adams says Berreth checked out at Safeway at 12:27 p.m. She bought supplies for a dip and some flowers. Surveillance video from another business showed her vehicle heading toward her townhome. Adams is looking at his phone for the time. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

Adams says that business surveillance video was at 12:37 p.m. The business was the Williams Furniture Store. @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

8:40 AM - 19 Feb 2019 pst

Sam Kraemer‏ @SamKraemerTV

He says Frazee was seen on Walmart & Williams Furniture Store surveillance, and on the surveillance video of an adjacent townhome to Berreth’s. That video showed him at her door @KOAA #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee

RBBM:

Love your post!!

If we focus strictly on just the bolded sections above, though, I think it really highlights and drives home the key points.

While I do like "Whoops" as a nickname, I must confess that personally, I'm partial to "Slick," because growing up in my family, any time one of us kids did something especially stupid, we were invariably treated to a "Way to go, Slick!" comment by my dad. So, that nickname has special meaning.

"Hey, PF: Way to go, Slick!"
