You’re right, but I also don’t think it’s a stretch to believe that they were inextricably linked.

That ping occurred on the same day that those text messages were sent.

If those texts were sent from different places, that would be huge.

But we haven’t heard anything to that effect.
I haven’t seen any dates associated with the ping. As I recall it was stated that it was the last location the phone pinged. Do you have a source?

On my 200 acre ranch, heavily forested, I discovered a concealed dead body in 1 hour.

It was a neighbor.

The trees talk

And here I sit, unaware that HRD dogs can type...
I know that the Wind Cries Mary but what do the trees say, exactly?

Help a buddy out, will you please?

Well for cryin' out loud, article updated:

Authorities believe missing Woodland Park mom could still be alive

UPDATE 12/14/18 3 p.m.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the location of a missing Colorado mom. The specifics of that reward were not announced as police get ready to sit down face to face with the missing woman's fiance for the first time since an investigation started on Dec. 2.
I am more interested in that interview than the $ personally.:)

I think that it was the only location that the phone pinged since she was last seen.

Not saying this is most likely..

But what do you think about the possibility she asked a shady neighbor for a ride to an airport/train/bus station?

People routinely ask for rides to be dropped off at those sorts of places when they go on a trip.

But wouldn't sOhaid neighbor have come forward already? No reason to keep that a secret. They did nothing wrong.

ETA: OH, I missed the word 'shady' in your OP. Ok, I see what you mean.

Hopefully they have looked into her neighbors.

But I still have a hard time believing she would go see an elderly grandmother, and leave her baby behind. WHY would she do that? PF sees the baby every day while she works. Why would she let him have her when she has vacation days?

It’s the only one they announced, bc it’s the “last” one, but they haven’t said if there were other pings before it.

Jeepers, you’d think that they would utilize spellcheck.

That headline is misleading, as the police chief is just saying what he’s supposed to say in that regard. He hasn’t provided any evidence that she is alive, and he almost certainly believes that she isn’t.

This is standard though.

I’m glad to hear that he’s sitting down with police, I think it’s the least he can do. It would have been nice if he was this forthcoming from the beginning.

Someone get Tammy on the line!

I’m wondering if Le searched both her home & both vehicles? At least bringing in cadaver dogs. Who’s to say that her vehicle wasn’t the one to dispose of her?

The ping was at 5:13pm (Mountain Time) on November 25th in Gooding, ID. The source is the Police Chief giving a time line in the Press Conference on December 10th.

Probably, yes. But if someone didn’t have a strong backbone, I suppose they might not say anything out of fear of being accused publicly. People are pretty brutal toward anyone they see as suspicious.

Right. We don’t have a concrete date associated with the ping though right?

If he was the one who sent those texts and generated the ping, all he’d need is his mother to watch his daughter.

That’s of course assuming foul play and that PF is involved.
Yep yep yep. This is where my guessing and speculating is leading me.

One could turn off her phone, drive it to Idaho, turn phone back on, send a couple texts, turn off phone, destroy it, etc, and drive back.
