Danger !
FYI ; This was false info from a click-bait blog.
The truth is that they would just be looking for any clues.. which would be standard protocol in this case ; since KB is still just 'missing'.

Thank you!

Cadaver dogs would alert to that

Once, several years ago, I read a book written by the owner of a search dog. Called "what the dog knows". I started respecting dogs even more after that book, however, dogs, like us, have limitations. Cadaver dogs are smart, but not 100% reliable, with lots of false positives and false negatives.

Which means they should be digging at night. Any mention of lights being brought onto the property?
A $25,000 reward is now being offered to find Kelsey Berreth
Investigators are working around the clock as they continue to search the home of Kelsey Berreth’s fiancé in Florissant for a second straight day, the Woodland Park Police Department Chief said in a press release Saturday.

Daniela Leon on Twitter
Update: went up to Florissant and saw no gear of sorts, road blocks or police cars. Working to see if search has been called off. Last night police were on the property overnight.

I'd throw in "false ping" to cover all bases, although I don't want to revive the discussion regarding how technically possible that might be.
My question on that is, what would a cattle farmer/farrier know about sending false pings or programming texts etc. Wouldn't he have to research that, and wouldn't there be evidence of that research somewhere? Just some thoughts.

Former Sheriff gives insight to search on missing mom's fiance property search
Former Sheriff gives insight to search on missing mom's fiance property search

KRDO news video at link

"They're looking for any other articles of clothing, anything psychical to the that property where some it's an anomaly. The fact that they got a search warrant tells the judge there's something that has value and they want to explore further," he says.

JMO, PK made two big mistakes to begin with that put LE onto him.

1. He told they had broken up on Thanksgiving Day. Why was that a necessary comment? Breaking up on a holiday is a cruel and thoughtless way to end a relationship. IMO, especially if he knows she is dead due to something he did to her. This statement would raise eyebrows with the LE guys I am sure.

2. He told she was going on a trip but no one knew about it besides him. What a goofy statement! Again, eyebrows would be raised that he was giving an explanation for her absence right at the start.

We WS have seen so many cases where a significant other tell the above two scenarios that soon as I heard them, PF was the guilty party in my mind.

His lawyering up immediately just added to my suspicions.

Please take the baby away from him now. Don’t give him the chance to hurt this precious child!

Let's hope he did a google search on how to do it... they will cease his computers. Also, most 29 year olds are very tech saavy, they grew up with this stuff.

I am curious how often they texted before Thanksgiving... and until she was reported missing. And even if they broke up TG day, I’m sure one of them would have been mad enough to keep texting.

The Watts case, all over Colorado tv, gave ideas of what not to do. Hence zero public appearances.

If they (LE) have a good lead... I'd imagine this could take all night.
Have they brought in any outdoor light sources ?

Good question.
Anyone else want to weigh in ?

Absolutely. I cannot imagine what they're enduring. :(

Warrants are generally not time limited. Attorney in the Mountain West

Can you verify that he said either to LE? I’ve been searching for two hours trying to verify that.

Ugh ... this wait .... it takes no more than 15 minutes for a bobcat to determine if it is a fresh trench it is digging in.

If it is fresh ... it would only take 30 minutes to get to 6 feet ... even with careful slow excavation

Do you think the excavation equipment is part of the District Attorney's negotiations?

Actually it takes longer because they are careful to look for evidence as they dig and there's a lot of time spent on recording each and every finding, marking it for evidence, etc. To go down even 3 feet can take hours depending on what it found as they dig down.

Who said that he broke up with her on that day? Did he say so?

Exactly. The last thing they want to do is damage a body, as it makes it more difficult to determine cause of death.

They also don’t want to miss anything. It’s a very methodical process. And tedious.

I just read through all the family postings here and I don't remember reading it.

The aunt said on Twitter...or FB

“Our niece is missing ... She broke up with her ex on Thanksgiving, he said she dropped off the baby and was heading to Soap Lake Washington to visit”

I think he said so as well.
