I agree we need to always keep our eyes open, but the further away we need to go from the facts we already have, the less logical it is to me... I can’t get away from these facts:
KB had the baby, now PF has the baby, making an exchange since the last time she was seen on camera. Therefore he has to be the last known person to see her as far as we know.
PF did not report her missing after not hearing from her for 7 days. Maybe there’s a reason we don’t know, but we do know that fact.
LE had probable cause enough to get a warrant to search his property.
LE says her disappearance is suspicious and they don’t think she left willingly on her own.
With these things we know I’m having a hard time not looking in one direction. I obviously hope there’s more to this that points a different way, but I feel it’s a stretch to get there at this point.
I am also thinking, "cui prodest"? Who benefits, in Latin. And much as we may not know the whole story of a young, unmarried (and maybe not even engaged?) woman with a child, what we know looks the following:
- she has contacts with her family in ID, with her family in WA, and with her SO (father of her child) in CO, and with her work. And some past life of which we know nothing.
- her family does not benefit from her disappearance; she is on regular speaking terms with her mother, and her BIL has stories to tell about her. (Having a child out-of-wedlock as even the reason to estrange her, like I sometimes read in different posts, I seriously doubt; I am not a Protestant but from observation, a serious sin in their eyes would have been abortion. Premarital sex, extramarital affairs are not great, of course, but they can be prayed for and atoned for).
- her workplace employs her. There may be something going on there, personally, that we don't know about, but usually even more difficult situations are resolved peacefully. Pilots have a certain IQ, and they think logically, and they can weigh pros and cons. So in my eyes, it remains a possibility, but a slim one.
- Someone from the past? One has to know the story and the person from the past has to be so well aware of PF and the job as to send two convincing texts.
- PF with whom KB has a child. Here, everything seems to be a mess, sorry. KB and PF, try to do well by raising the kid together, but PF is stuck at the farm, she works long hours and commutes, they live separately, and in general, sooner or later such relationships break. Unless people find the means to move together, but it did not seem to be in the cards. And I suspect that all three people involved in the care of the child, KB, PF and his mother, are very attached to the girl and have endured not ideal situations for quite a while. It looks fragile, to me. It is a triangle bound by the child.
But in this extremely situation, anyone who appears on the horizon, be it another love interest for PF or the one for KB, tips the scales incredibly. And then someone might be interested in resolving it.
85% PF, 7% someone at work, 8% someone from the past. PF might have had some help, work situation, no external help, someone from the past, neither.
