That's not very specific, though. In a landfill or in a river is a very vague description. They have already searched the landfill and they didn't find anything. If he dumped her body (or ashes) in a river there is probably even less chance it will be found.
So his telling her where he disposed the body really wasn't very helpful, if that is even where it was disposed.

Imo
At the time, the landfill searchers thought it was very specific.

He doesn't seem like the talkative Watts type (sorry if you missed that case this year) so I'm going to go with: take it to his grave...

He doesn’t deserve an actual known grave. Hope someday they dump him in a landfill or river.

According to KK (and the prosecution theory of the crime), PF has already disclosed the location as the landfill or the river. That is one of the major elements of this criminal action. IMO
IMO people who don’t want to get on a jury for an extended trial get very creative with getting out of it. Saying the person is guilty is the most common way.
It may or may not be indicative of what the seated jury (or most people) actually believe. I’ve witnessed this maneuver in person.

ETA sorry, I quoted the wrong post. I meant to respond about all the potential jurors saying guilty and correct a spelling error

Well, to me "a river" or "a landfill" are two very different things.
This is reportedly what KK told LE PF said to her about where he put the body.
Yes, and evidently LE felt the search of the landfill was more likely to turn up evidence. They certainly invested a LOT of resources into that search.

Please, not a beautiful flowing river- make it a stinky swamp. My apologies to all swamps.

Yes, but I thought they could go outside on breaks and tweet that way.

Yes, just not on the courthouse property. MOO
Handling all of these would-be jurors has required the Teller County Courthouse to call in reinforcements. Some of these volunteers had a relatively short drive from neighboring El Paso County, but others came all the way from Adams County — a roughly 2.5 hour drive through sometimes windy mountain roads in wintry conditions.

The three prosecutors — including Fourth Judicial District Attorney Dan May — are seated directly in front of Judge Scott Sells. A clerk seated in front of the judge is tasked with writing what was said during the proceedings verbatim, which could amount to up to 90,000 words a day.

Frazee has not visibly shown emotions during this part of the proceeding, though he has intently watched all of the questioning.

All of the people who have been asked to return to final selection have been told to return to the courthouse by 8:15 a.m. on Friday, with a hope 12 jurors and four alternates can be seated that day.

The court plans to call back 90 jurors on Friday. Thirty five people were told to return on Monday, and jury selection is scheduled for until Thursday.

So, have I. I've served on a jury for an extended trial. Very disruptive for my family and my coworkers.

As far as some women go, I'd be afraid of those secret admirers of his getting on the jury. You all know who I'm talking about- those sympathetic (gag) women who write love letters and send gifts to their beloved in jail, who they've never met.
Oh I think delusional PF being a 'suave legend' in his own mind is hoping he can spread his animal magnetism to sway at least one female juror, gag . *puke emoji*

There was probably a greater chance of finding evidence in a landfill than if they had searched rivers in the area.
Maybe they thought that since he was seen throwing garbage away with his friends that there was a better chance that they might find something whereas in a river the evidence would be washed away.

Unfortunately reporters have to go outside of the courthouse area to tweet. This tiny courthouse has limited seating and the judge has said no one will be allowed to enter if court has started (creaky doors that would be another distraction in a courthouse that already has bad acoustics).

IDK...maybe reporters will have tag teams set in place...ok pass that notebook!

It's day two of jury selection for the trial against the man accused of killing Woodland Park mom Kelsey Berreth. Here's a recap from Reporter Jennifer Meckles.

Why wouldn't they search Nash Ranch? Her body was there!

That may be what happened. It's also possible LE may have conducted searches of the rivers or concluded it was an unlikely body disposal for whatever the reason such as depth or clarity of the water. Some of the rivers in the mountains are pretty shallow and the water is crystal clear. My dad spent hours fly-fishing. Maybe some locals could give some insight.

Yes, I understand. I was just pointing out that since it is only jury selection at this time that doesn't mean there won't be more reporting while the actual trial is going on.
If they can manage going out in the snow just to report on jury selection, they shouldn't have a problem reporting during the trial.
