I base my opinion on speculation which might buy you a Sonic burger but is not good for much else!

I just keep trying to figure a way for Patrick to get her body out of the condo without showing him carrying her or the tote on camera.

I realize that camera didn't show everything that happened that day, happy as we are with it being a Lie Detector for Patrick.

If we believe KK there was a dramatic bloody crime scene which speaks to more than a few drops.

Luminol and Bluestar will show us the size of the clean-up as will ceiling splatter, if there is any.

I've seen forensic shows that show splatter after Luminol clean-up. I don't know if they all do.

I would love to know how long water ran in the condo on Thanksgiving. We could learn how much clean-up of the body and of Patrick took place.

I recall we had some members that owned and/or were familiar with the "ARLO" surveillance cameras, and remember there was something specific about how Arlo's motion sensor is much more sensitive to side-to-side movement across its field of view than to movement directly toward or away from the camera.

I'm not aware of where the neighbor's camera was mounted but I believe the last witness that resumes testimony on Tuesday may have some answers about what was depicted on camera, was not, and why not.

I’ve said this before, but the same camera system that apparently missed Kelsey’s body being removed from the house, also failed to capture KK arriving or leaving after cleaning the crime scene.

Few people doubt the first occurred, and I don’t think anyone doubts the second occurred.

So either the system missed it altogether, or it wasn’t recovered by that digital expert.

What I don’t think, is that either of them did anything tricky to avoid that camera. That includes dismemberment.

I am a little late to the game but it sounds like the candle was left on the. Hot plate and the plate was still on. Could this have been a failed arson attempt? Figuring the wax would start a fire and destroy the remaining evidence. Just a thought.

Yeah, that candle on the hot plate is bugging me as well. Who put it on the hot plate and just left it there? LE found it; does that imply that KK may have done this??

JMVHO.

Well, if he was seen eleven times, which we didn't know about before, maybe we haven't yet heard what he was carrying in or out of the condo.

Imo
Maybe I misunderstood....I thought they showed still photos of the 11 times.

I think it was the one on the neighbor's bedroom window so one of you may be able to pull up a picture.

Yes. This. This has been bugging me as well as that candle on the hot plate.

Did KB's condo have covered parking, like an attached garage? If so, then there "should" be another entrance to the condo, via the garage. How the heck else did KK get out? After all, when she was done with her cleaning spree, she went to Sonic, correct? And her Sonic stop was during the daytime, I believe.

Questions, questions.

I mean, are we even going to need 3 weeks at this rate?
Yes, dar gone it, I want to hear how the defense NOW plans to spin this into KK being the actual murderer!

I do wonder if she's on video, too.

Yes, that's what I thought too. But I thought it indicated that he went back more times than we originally heard about.
Or is it just eleven different pictures of him going just a few times? I dk.

I believe the witness was able to get to the point of explaining the limitations of the camera storage (i.e., 7 days), and how he was able to recover snaps not from the camera storage but the owners phone cache. What was not clear was whether or not all the images recovered made it to the big screen in the courtroom. Nonetheless -- the witness will resume testimony on Tuesday. MOO

I’m going to guess no.

It wasn’t mentioned during the preliminary, and her knowledge of the house was used as evidence that she had been there before (in the affidavit).

Had she been caught on video, I think they would have said so, as that would be nearly irrefutable.

Yeah, a reciprocating saw seemed to be the tool of choice.
although he's stupid... I'm not sure he would have opted to use one... The amount of blood it would have poured out and all over - BUT, could explain under the floorboards (depending on amount)?

The camera was triggered 27 times on the 22nd. There are 11 photos that captured PF, as late as 4:30 p.m.

Not sure if that answers your question or not but I tried! :p MOO

Figured we should use our digital platform for a little more depth on this trial. I recapped Day 2 on Facebook Live earlier. Here’s a link to hear the important parts of my notes.

Ha! “There’s no blood on his clothes in the pictures.”

Nice save defense. I’m sure that a guy who committed premeditated murder, wouldn’t have brought a change of clothes or anything.
Or already had similar clothing at Kelsey's condo already.

I guess they have to try, right?

However, we weren't told about all the 11 times PF was there. We really don't know all the videos they have that may come out over the next three weeks.

I was confused, was it a hot plate? Was it one of those wax melt Scentsy things? It's not uncommon for me to leave my scentsy on if I leave the house (not for extended periods of time... but still..). Sam says it was explained that the house smelled really pleasant - thus, sure, masking the smell of cleaning supplies. My wax melts (if thats the type of thing it was) ONLY smell significantly strong if they are new (which would make sense for KK to have placed it on purpose). If they're older or have been heated multiple times, definitely not as strong. But the fact that candle warmer/wax melts whatever, were strong enough to notice how 'pleasant' the home smelled makes me think they were new...

Thanks for this. I believe LE described it as a "hot plate" and maybe didn't realize it was a candle warmer/wax melt.
