Just to clarify - the quote was from Mrs. Rockstahl, not KK directly.

He threatens to kill her dog, he states she is either a baby killer or she isn’t, he never goes to Idaho to see her yet she drives to CO for sex with him repeatedly, she gets an abortion to please him and on it goes. Then she helps him plan a murder, attempts murder of Kelsey with poisoned coffee and the jury is supposed to feel sorry for her?! Oh wait. That’s not all. She cleans up a murder scene?! He may go away for life and should. But a lifetime of karma isn’t enough for this woman. She needs to be right there with him.

For those asking about who is questioning KK, according to the link it is Jennifer Viehman, the Lead Prosecutor:

When Lead Prosecutor Jennifer Viehman asked, Kenney said she has lived in Hansen, Idaho for 10 months. She grew up in Idaho, she said.​

Interesting that KK moved 10 months ago. Did that come up before? Does this mean she is not still living with her ex-husband?

I think the purpose is to establish a pattern of behavior rather than to gain sympathy.
If the ex-girlfriend can testify to similar abuse and control it will be easier to believe PF is capable of murder.

so what was all that clearing the courtroom privacy stuff about? I haven't seen any tweets explaining this?

This actually happened on Tuesday, and the Judge explained it today. Recall court ended early on Tuesday so Judge heard motions and conducted other business outside of the jury present. There was no witness testimony, and Judge indicated he plans to do the same during the course of the trial.

As the court headed into morning recess, Judge Sells said he is expecting up to 80 other witnesses to testify. He also tells the court that he closed the courtroom Tuesday afternoon for motions, legal arguments and discussion of upcoming witnesses. He said investigators and the Berreth family were allowed to stay and the court did not hear any testimony.

Sells said that he plans to do so with future motions because of privacy concerns and the publicity the case has received in order to protect the integrity of the jury.
