That was my thinking up until she began testifying. I thought she saw Kelsey as a rival, and was happy to see her gone.
Now I’m not so sure.
PF wanting Kelsey out of the way, would have signaled that she and PF were done forever. KK didn’t have a challenger anymore.
When PF first started talking about the alleged abuse of baby K, and moved into the solicitation, KK actually approached a work colleague, basically looking for an out.
She wanted the childcare system to handle the problem, and was reluctant to move forward with his request.
This advice proved fruitless, as PF had already claimed that DCF wouldn’t take his allegations seriously.
So it’s not like KK just jumped at the opportunity to rid herself of Kelsey. As we also know, she expressed reservations to friends of hers, to include that wonderful lawyer couple.
So I’m not as high on the idea that KK wanted Kelsey gone as much as PF did.
