How interesting that he's asking someone he doesn't know, from Kelsey's job, if she knew of anyone who could take care of his daughter?

So what is all this damn fuss of him filing for custody, and MaF filing for custody after he was arrested, yet he's asking this lady for help with child care, obviously?

or did he say that to make Kelsey look bad in front of her employers, in other words, she took off on her own, is unstable, and now he's stuck with child care concerns?

Yet good ole MaF filed for custody of Baby K right after he was arrested. gggrrrrrrrr

Oh that was definitely a precursor for the KB is a drug and alcohol abuser statement to follow! MOO

I really don't think he will...but I have said that before in other trials and some did. You never know.
The issue here is how many proven lies he told. Most importantly, the lies he told in regards to his alibi.

He couldn’t keep his mouth shut before the murder, and after it. If he were to take the stand, this case would go on another week.

That’s how damaging it would be. I’ve been surprised before as well, but I’d be beyond stunned here.

Well, they did mention something about KK not being captured on camera, and pointed out that they couldn't be sure it was PF in the images.

It seems they are really counting on the jury not finding KK credible. I don't think they care so much about her lies about why she didn't come forward as much as they do about the evidence fitting with the details she gave about the murder and cover up.

Imo

I completely agree. Every thing she has said has been backed up with evidence.

And then there’s the fact he has not offered a reasonable explanation for any thing that has been presented.

MOO - As stupid as he’s been, and as much as he’s blabbed, I’m almost shocked he didn’t tell someone that KB went to meet up with Shan’ann, Bella and CeCe about possible play dates...

I think he was already starting to see little kb as an inconvenience. He's starting to want to date again. And I wouldn't doubt if he would have planned an accident for her as well....

From the lunch report at KOAA that I posted both up-thread and media, I don't believe there was a Group life insurance policy in effect for KB.

The company was under new ownership and the policy most likely was "replaced" which occurs when in connection with a sale (i.e., replacement insurance).

By not completing the enrollment information (testified by HR Admin), KB essentially opted out of effective coverage. MOO
Thx!

Curious to see if they move him out of state for prison like Watts. I’m just getting out of the Midwest right now. Darn cold up there. Assuming he is a “Colorado Native” , I am hoping he is banished somewhere with harsh , overcast winters (even though he won’t see much daylight anyway). He doesn’t deserve the favorable Colorado climate, even in jail. Jmo
I think ADX in Florence, CO is a perfect place for him...even if the weather is good. lol!

SABBM:

Gee, wonder who this mysterious witness is that's being discussed "off the record."

HI, MA!

Taking advantage of extended lunch most likely provided for some court administration time.

With plans to hear closing arguments on Friday, this witness discussion seems appropriate and necessary with only a day and a half remaining. MOO

But did she not complete the enrollment info because she was dead? If that’s the case, I’m sure the old life insurance policy would pay out. I hope it does, for KB2.

What she has testified to has been completely backed up by evidence, to include numerous witnesses.

It’s easy to see, unless you are willing to close your eyes, stick your fingers in your ears, and hum loudly. Unless you hate her so much that all logic goes out the window.

Which is actually happening in some parts. Let’s just hope it doesn’t happen in the jury room.

I have no expectation it will though.

Unfortunately, many of the people involved in this case have NO conscience.

Let’s see what today brings!

Well, you know the old saying: Birds of a feather flock together. There is a reason that saying has withstood the test of time. MOO

I was hoping he’d go visit Old Sparky in Florida, or perhaps the Huntsville Penn. imo wishful thinking.

Bombshell,after Bombshell.

I’ve never seen anything like it. They have him nailed. I will be absolutely shocked if the jury doesn’t return a guilty verdict.

poor Kelsey. What a disgusting piece of work (and that’s being nice) or I’d get a TO if I said what I really think

Prayers to her family.

I respectfully disagree. The baby was a chick magnet. MOO

Baby K had just turned a year old in October. She was now walking and the idea of her staying at the franch (which child services deemed unsafe for a toddler) was probably not an option for KB. And the cost of daycare would make part-time more practical. MOO
Do you have a link to CPS deeming the Frazee ranchette "unsafe for children"?

All I have in my notes is Stephanie Benitez, an FBI-Denver photographer, who was there on Dec 14-15 giving her personal opinion "unsafe for children" which was (IMOO vociferously) objected to by the Defense and sustained by the Judge (Sam Kraemer reported in his video for Day 6) IMOO Ms Benitez was attempting to testify outside of her limited FBI specialty, leading to motions.

Thx if you know.

Do we know if she had a substance abuse problem and or was in a rehab?

I just find that so hard to believe of a woman who has a one year old child, a good job, new move, ect..

How did she acomplish, all these things while using? Surely she had pre-natal check ups, and then the investigation by Cps after the birth, Where is this claim that she was in a rehab program coming from?

I must've missed something. I don't recall her being a substance abuser, and didn't she buy wine or Champagne the day she was killed?
I *think* it was sparkling cider.

The press release for new ownership is dated Sept 14, 2017. IMO, the transitionary period for new programs was probably effective Sept 2018.

My first trial I followed closely was the endless, then repeated, Arias trial. Anyone here remember the endless OBJECTION! Approach the bench? At least THAT;s not going on here, so far as we know anyway.

All too well do I remember all those sidebar discussions.

I honestly think they spent about 1/4 or 1/3 of the time in a sidebar in front of the judge instead of arguing the case to the jury. Mostly the defense fault from what I remember. And the judge's fault for allowing all the sidebars.

When the defense would ask the judge if they could approach, I kept yelling at my screen "Just say No!!!"

:)

Ach -- I've been been thinking about that predjucial vs privatice objection all morning. Chiefly wondering how it might impact impressive character evidence. Had me going back to my trusty old Latin primers.

Ha ha!!

Sorry I do not.

Somebody interviewed SF, EF, and PF from child services followed by testimony that there were sharp corners, fire stove in center of the room, and environment described as "unsafe for children."

I can't believe this testimony and/or opinion by a photographer would be allowed in court without an objection by the defense if the person was not qualified to testify about such things.

MOO

ETA: add link

Friend testifies Frazee said, ‘I figured out a way to kill her’

She [FBI Special Agent Stephanie Benitiz] said that there were signs that a child lived there, but few toys at the home. She also testified that the home did not appear safe for a toddler, as there were sharp edges, a hot burning stove in the center of the house with no child gates around it and chemicals around the house.
