I should probably know this from discussions about phones in other cases, but would her phone ping if it was off? If so, wouldn't there be pings along the route to Idaho? What would be the explanation for it only pinging in Idaho and not along the journey?
Bc whoever took her used her phone to text work JMO

IMO, the elephant in the room is that Kelsey’s family has a guess about what happened, but they’re waiting for an arrest before they point fingers.

This story is just so upsetting to me. Kelsey has a beautiful little baby girl that she loves so much. Look at those pictures. This world is so unfair.

From that news release he is being called her fiancé. I guess they're still a couple as far as anyone knows. If there was a breakup it must have been very recent.
Yes. VERY recent apparently?

I heard that statement by her mom at the presser as, "Kelsey loves her God, she loves her family and friends, and she loves her job."

That makes sense. From what I have been able to gather, they are quite religious.

I heard “God” too, but dogs are awesome!

I am confused by articles like this. In the presser the police chief gave a timeline. He said that the check at Kelsey's home was after her mother reported her missing which was December 2nd at 12:37pm. Why does this check keep getting reported as occurring on November 25th?

The missing person report was not filed by the police until Dec 2. Kelsey’s mother was in contact with police prior to that date.

From link: Berreth's mother called police for a welfare check on November 25, but she wasn't there. Berreth was officially reported missing shortly on December 2 by her mother, police said.

I thought her mother said that "Kelsey loves her God...."
That’s what I thought, but perhaps the NYPost reporter heard differently.

I went back and listened to what the chief said himself at the press conference. He said
Woodland Park LE went to Kelsey's residence on Dec 2 and performed a Community Caretaker search to see if they could locate her. She was not found to be inside her residence.

Kelsey's mom contacted the fiance on Nov 25, but I don't think LE were involved until Dec 2.

Could a small plane fly to Idaho and back without refueling? Not stuck on the plane aspect, just a scenario I'm pondering.

UGH. The police chief in the presser absolutely said very specifically that they did the search AFTER her mother reported Kelsey missing. Not the 25th of November. I have no idea where these news articles are getting that information because the police did not say they did anything on the 25th of November. Listen to the press conference again.

The media is crossing this information up and I don't know why that is happening.

I think there was a breakup or “taking a break” between KB and PF, and she was going to travel to see someone, with rolls, and the baby was going to stay with daddy.

If that’s the case, when did he expect her back? It’s plausible only he knew of her plans and she was going to surprise family?

Recap, family didn’t know they broke up or were expecting her. JMO

No. That distance alone (one way), is pushing the range of many small aircraft.

Most would have to refuel (at some point) for a return trip.

I don’t think a plane is involved in any way though.

Seriously! It was 8 minutes long and they barely told us anything. How is it so screwed up by the time it gets to print? Makes me question my trust in print media and I have very close friends who are excellent journalists
