Child Custody in the Colorado Court site shows hearing on 6/30/25 & trial set to begin on 8/11/25 all @ 8:30am; were all vacated when she fled to the U.K.
UK Extradition: District Judge John Zani presiding. Prosecutor Joel Smith KC & defense barrister Edward Fitzgerald.
Appeals: For two years, Singler has fought her extradition, with her lawyer arguing that if she were tried & convicted on the first-degree murder charges she is facing in the U.S., she would be sentenced to life in prison without parole, which goes against certain human rights laws in Europe. In January of this year, a U.K. judge ruled that Singler could be extradited the U.S. Following that ruling, Singler’s attorney indicated he planned to appeal to the High Court. Friday, the Crown Prosecution Service confirmed that Singler went before the High Court this week for permission to appeal, which was denied. “Defence have indicated an intention to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights,” the Crown Prosecution Service said. No timetable for when or if that appeal will occur has been provided. Singler remains in custody in the U.K. Has been extradited back to the U.S. on 12/23/25. Held without bond.

11/27/25 Update: A Colorado Springs woman accused of drugging & killing her two children back in December 2023 will be sent back to the United States after a judge in London ruled in favor of her extradition, according to our partners at NBC London. Singler has been fighting extradition back to the U.S. while in UK territory, with her representation claiming that sending Singler back to the U.S. would breach Article 3 of the European Convention of Human Rights. In Singler's court appearance Thursday morning, her representation claimed that there were flaws in the investigation by Colorado Springs Police, including the claim that her daughter's witness statement was non-voluntary. Despite Singler's arguments, the judge ruled in favor of the extradition. It is unclear when she will be extradited to the U.S.
12/24/25 Update: Singler has been returned from the UK to the US after she was charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The 37-year-old woman appeared in court in the US for advisement hearing. The FBI & Colorado Springs police traveled to London to take custody of Singler, who fought extradition & denied attacking her children. Her London defense attorney, Edward Fitzgerald, argued that she should not be extradited because if convicted of first-degree murder in Colorado, she would face a mandatory sentence of life without parole — a sentence that violates European human rights law. Adrian Vasquez, Colorado Springs Police chief, said: "Today really is a significant milestone in this criminal investigation. Singler is accused of committing an unthinkable act. I know these acts have deeply impacted this community & our hearts remain with the victims." The police officer said Singler will be held without bond at least until a preliminary hearing on whether there is sufficient evidence to proceed toward trial. That hearing typically is scheduled within 30 days of an initial court appearance, with some exceptions, he continued. A judge rejected Singler's challenge in January 2025 & her bid for an appeal was denied in November. 2025 Singler also faces one count of attempted murder, three counts of child abuse & one count of assault. First appearance hearing on 1/7/26 @ 8:30am.
