Doesn't sound random imo:

http://www.denverpost.com/2017/03/27/suspect-fatal-centennial-shooting/

"The 29-year-old man arrested in the March 22 fatal shooting outside a wholesale store in Centennial “appeared to be nervous and was sweating profusely” when he was found hours later by authorities, according to court documents.

An Arapahoe County sheriff’s deputy also noted in a report that Nicholas Locascio was struggling to keep his eyes open.

Locascio is being held on suspicion of first-degree murderin the death of 32-year-old Justin Lee Doe."

Snip

"The court records don’t indicate why Locascio allegedly killed Doe. Julie Brooks, an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, said Monday that she couldn’t comment further.

The probable cause statement indicates investigators believe there was some kind of interaction between Locascio and Doe before the fatal shooting."

Woman injured after shots fired from vehicle
http://www.9news.com/news/crime/woman-shot-while-riding-in-car/436988475

"Denver Police say the female victim was found near 11th Street and Auraria Parkway but the shooting may have occurred in the area of Interstate 25 and 20th Avenue."

Snip

"The suspect may have been driving a maroon Ford double cab truck with tan stripes. The driver is a described as white man with a beard. He was wearing a gray short sleeve shirt.

Police are not sure if the shooting was the result of road rage or something else."

So, here are my recent thoughts (since everyone is just dying to know  )

Foxfire, you had suspected an older, military hunter type. I had orginally thought younger gamer...FHG we discussed gang shootings some, and Denver does seem to a lot of gang activity imo... Foxfire, you had also suspected what's his name, NS or someone affiliated with similar interests...any news on him?

Via trigger downstairs a while back there was a very important clue (don't everyone try to discuss what happens downstairs up here all at one haha...where is everyone? I scared you guys away I guess...)

Anyway, I'm thinking gang initiation as a lead theory. Moo.

We have had a few 'freeway shootings' which have been thought to be gang initiation shootings. No one has been caught yet though...

I will try and find some old links...One of them was on an offramp, and the other was on an onramp, which had two lanes, and a car went alongside the other and shot into the vehicle...and the victims, who lived, said there waS NO road rage incidents, as they had just left their hime and were getting on the freeway...

Cool, thanks Katy!

Likely o/t, but posting for reference in case, also comparing agencies just out of curiosity:

Qmfr:
Law enforcement agencies in Northern Colorado Shooting Task Force

•Larimer County Sheriff's Office

•Windsor Police Department

•Weld County Sheriff's Office

•Larimer County District Attorney's Office

•Federal Bureau of Investigation

•Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms

•Loveland Police Department

•Colorado State Patrol

•Fort Collins Police Services

•Greeley Police Department

•Colorado Bureau of Investigation

"The leads the task force has been given, though, are still being followed up on and thoroughly investigated, Moore said.

While 11 law enforcement agencies are still assigned to the task force, three of them — Weld County Sheriff's Office, Fort Collins Police Services and Greeley Police Department — no longer have personnel assigned to the task force on a daily basis.

"All those agencies are still technically participating, but don't necessarily have personnel assigned to the task force," Moore said. "They are still resources the task force has at their disposal.""

I want to just throw this in the thread because I do find that some of James Dale Ritchie's alleged victims have a similarity (location/activity) to those shot in Northern CO in 2015. Connected? That's for LE to figure out, but reading about the known victims in AK just really gave me pause.

I was wondering if you had seen that news about the AZ arrest. I wonder if there are any similarities between the two situations?

Pepper spray attack on Auraria campus: Two women sprayed by people in car
http://kdvr.com/2017/05/14/pepper-s...-campus-pedestrians-sprayed-by-people-in-car/

"DENVER — Two women walking on the Auraria campus were pepper sprayed by a group of people in a car overnight, campus police reported Sunday morning.

The victims told police they were waiting at the intersection of Auraria Parkway and Speer Boulevard at about 12:45 a.m. when four people pulled up in an older, white sedan. The suspects sprayed the chemical agent at the pedestrians and drove away, the Auraria Campus Police Department said in a statement."

(Wtf is wrong with people...)

Note to look into this guy (or these guys):
(Obviously a different crime, but they reminded me of the Malvo team (Beltway Snipers, adult and minor):

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...d-military-grade-explosive-at-colorado-school

"EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. – A man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday afternoon after deputies had to render safe what was originally reported as a “military grade” explosive left in the cafeteria of the Fountain Valley School of Colorado."

Snip

"The man arrested was identified as Bryan S. Bolding, 46. Though the sheriff’s office has not linked Bolding to the school or released his mugshot at this time, the school’s "Directory of Technology" [sic] is also called Bryan Bolding, according to the its website. That Bolding has not been confirmed to be the suspect at this time."

Looks like he works at the school. What a freaking nutjob.

"Bolding and the 16-year-old boy face multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, according to the sheriff’s office.

Among them are possession and use of a hoax incendiary device, terrorist training activities, contributing to delinquency of a minor, conspiracy, attempting to influence a public servant, reckless endangerment, child abuse without injury and felony menacing."
