“Police said another vehicle, a 2017 blue Nissan Altima with Colorado license plate UOF 493, is also possibly connected to the incident, although it wasn't immediately clear how. That vehicle is registered to an address in Northglenn, police said.”

“When they arrived witnesses told them a juvenile female, later identified as Herrera, was attempting to get out of her boyfriend’s car after a physical struggle with him. He physically prevented her from getting out of the car and drove off, police said.”

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UPDATE: Authorities have located the vehicle of two missing teens Wednesday evening. The Sheridan Police Department sent an alert around 5:23 p.m.

The 2000 White Honda Accord has been located with the Colorado license plate OMB236. Neither Samantha Herrera or Rodney Brown were located. If you know any information about their whereabouts, call the police.

Police have not said whether Herrera was injured.“

Seventeen-year-old Samantha Herrera, who was abducted in Sheridan late January 8, prompting an Amber Alert, has been found safe, and Rodney Brown, the nineteen-year-old suspected of kidnapping her, is in custody.

Herrera had been found inside a home near the intersection of Elmer and Larson drives in Northglenn at approximately 10:45 a.m.; Brown was nabbed at around 5 p.m. January 9 at an undisclosed location.

He's currently in the Adams County Jail, and charges are pending.
