why would the US secret service be involved in missing child's case?
Singing familiar children’s songs may be a great idea as you are searching @KayElJay. The details say that little Sebastian loves them, and my work with young children with autism bears that out. While he may not respond to his name, he may hear it if you sing it in a song. Whenever I was trying to connect with my young students with autism, I SANG whatever I needed them to pay attention to. I just used familiar tunes and inserted my own words as lyrics. People with autism often respond to and are comforted by the rhythm and predictability of music. Disney songs in particular are often favorites. THANK YOU for joining the search. May you be guided safely to help this precious child.
Praying for your safety and hope he’s located - we’ve had a few miracles latelyMy friends and I signed up to search and are there now. There are 2 shifts (7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 9 p.m), we signed up for the 7 a.m-1:30 p.m
My heart hurts for Sebastian's Mom, so many say she is a loving and very dedicated to him. All of us who are parents know it only takes a secondAn estimated 500-600 volunteers and first responders have spent countless hours searching for Sebastian Rodriguez Castro since he disappeared Friday night near the Eagle Villas Apartments in Eagle, Colorado. Search efforts have included ground searches, helicopters, multiple UAV (drone) teams, trained search and rescue dog teams, water rescue teams, FBI operations, and a 24-hour tip line for leads on Sebastian’s location. Search efforts have thus far been unsuccessful.
Late yesterday, an article of clothing that was positively identified as Sebastian’s was located in the Eagle River. As a result, the search area was expanded to include additional downstream areas. The phone he was carrying when he went missing was found today in the river below the apartment complex. Despite exhaustive efforts by both first responders and volunteers, we have been unable to find any other additional clues.
Land-based searches have been extensive, both in town and all surrounding areas. As a result, beginning tomorrow, we will be consolidating search efforts to focus on the river. Vail Mountain Rescue will continue to conduct water searches, and air operations will continue, but land-based searches will be suspended unless additional information becomes available.
