The negative comments about Thrive are being mentioned as a possible issue in their marriage and maybe contributing to motive. I don't think it's being suggested that SW or Level is responsible for her death.
Gotcha, lol. ;) It's slowly sinking in, but both have been alluded to, I believe. So, for those of you who are conjecturing this, is this what you consider the reason for CW's standoffish behavior? And is Thrive believed to have a greater impact on the marriage than infidelity?

Yes, I really tilted that direction after hearing that he was already planning to sell the house. Day 1 or 2, I think? Wow.

What if he had to sell the house? And this was the reason why?

I was commenting on the business structure of La-Vel. No direct blame.

I'm catching on. I am also way behind. {sigh} Thank you for your patience. :)

I think the infidelity had the greater impact on the marriage but I can't ignore the financial stress factor that so many family annihilator cases have in common. That is not to say it is SW's fault or that she did anything wrong. Merely looking at all the angles.

Family annihilators "are driven to kill their family for a number of reasons," Garrett said. "Many times it's for financial problems. And the belief is that men, in particular, will kill their family because they have lost their ability to support them. And it gets into the male ego identity.

"Losing identity is the key component here.”

I read somewhere that their mortgage was $3,000, but I never saw anything official. Whoever saw that they paid in June, did they pay in July? August?

I’m behind and trying to catch up, so if this has been laid to rest, sorry!

The $3000 paid in June was their tax bill, likely for the first half of the year. Their taxes were collected as part of their monthly mortgage payment. The annual taxes are divided by 12 months and the payments escrowed. Then usually there are two annual payments paid to the county assessor for the property taxes.

Given that the tax bill was paid in full, it is safe to assume that they were up to date on their mortgage. Why? Because if they weren’t the full tax bill wouldn’t have been paid... the payment collector (in this case Chase) passes on only what they collect.

So many people were screeching about how they were on the brink of losing the house and the walls are caving in and blah blah blah. No, I think they were paying the mortgage just fine.

Isalybra,
How do the patches make you feel? can you put too many on? Do the patches give you energy? What are the adverse side effects you or your clients have experienced?
Welcome to WS - you're among friends here. As a new poster, this is just a tip that if you are directing a question to member @isalybra as you did above, be sure to include @ before their user name, and poster will get an alert about your question/post. It's similar to the WS alert when "reply" to post used. Also, -- very good questions about the patch and possible effects.

People lumping in Le-Vel in with random MLMs are sooo wrong in heir assumptions. Most of us don't even have to pay for product at all, there's NO buying in to this, you don't even sell it to get a discount like other companies. People need to stop trying to blame her career choice for any of this. You are all so far wrong on everything to do with this company. I thought this forum required people to state facts only or provide where you're getting the information. Should that not also be the case for trying to use this business any any implecations to motive

I don’t know about La-Vel, but I would have to think twice about the investment of working capital needed to make ends meet and feed a growing family. If it works for you that’s great.

I far as I can see, Shanann didn’t do a thing wrong. She put her whole heart and soul into this product and her life with him. That she made Thrive a priority maybe made him unhappy enough to kill her in cold blood. I’m curious if the AP helped him?

You can't pay your HOA dues of $52 a month and prefer to go to court with the addition fees....something is walking like a duck.

SBM. Wholeheartedly agree. Common sense. @Cruzin

See post #1 of this thread:
"Husband of the missing Frederick family has confessed to killing them and officials believe they know where the bodies are."

With all due respect that is a misleading headline. He did not confess to killing his family.

Regarding welfare checks. I'm a dispatcher and we go to welfare checks ALL the time. NU didn't need to make up a story about a doctor, and there's no reason to believe she did.

If they turn up and it turns out the person is fine, that's a good thing. No LE says "gee I hope this person is dead so we didn't waste our time". I mean, come on.

No one needs to "mind their own business". LE relies on the public calling in their concerns. They'd all be sitting around the office playing Nintendo and drinking hot chocolates if they didn't. How would they ever know anything was wrong?

NU was concerned. She did the right thing. And as we know, she was right to be concerned. Her friend, and two beautiful children, had been murdered. Thank goodness she called.

Some posts here really don't sound like "genuinely held beliefs" to me.

My limited understanding is that the Thrive Burn supplements have natural stimulants and caffeine but nothing to induce murder. But I do wonder if CW was experimenting with steroid type supplements ?
The majority of children’s care appeared to be Shannan despite her increasingly successful career...although CW may have wanted more of SW’s attention, I think he enjoyed the perks overall.
I suspect C.W. was in the early stages of a powerful infatuation with another woman, which can be incredibly addictive...almost crazy making for some people.

The dogs alert to the fact that somebody died, they don't say who. So for example had an elderly relative lived there and died at some point, then it could be that they alert to. In the circumstances I guess it forms part of the investigation and assists LE in their early work.

Very valid point!!!! Thank you!

I read on line that CW and SW bought the house brand new or had it built. New construction so no previous deaths at the home to alert cadaver dogs to. Only explanation to active alert is there was dead bodies on the premises.

I don't necessarily have an opinion or not if they are in financial crisis or not, but the mortgage company will continue to pay those bills even if you are behind. They just add it to your arrears usually. Having taxes current and insurance coverage protects the interest in their collateral.

I know of a homeowners that were two years behind on their mortgage. The owners were selling it as a short sale (short sale meaning what they owe is short of what they can sell for) and were behind on their mortgage by 2 years (3 years when it finally sold) and both the property tax and homeowners insurance were paid in full, just added to the debt the bank eventually sued them for.

Posted CW and SW had the home built for them or bought it brand newly built. No previous dead bodies in the home.

The affair is the biggest motive, all this other stuff is secondary. Particularly if it caused financial difficulties. It's also being mentioned because SW's social media painted a picture of a perfect family but in retrospect, they seem like commercials for Thrive.

I've seen this in many cases. There are those that love to argue just to argue. IMO a biiig waste of time. And then there are those who are professional posters hired by the defense. They post theory after theory in any public forum they can. They are throwing spaghetti at walls to see what sticks. Or their intent is to sway public opinion. It happened with Casey Anthony, Abraham Shakespeare, Susan Powell, etc. etc.

Don't bite, use the ignore button, and scroll and roll.

Thanks for the timely advice.

A jury isn't selected until the case is ready for trial. If a potential juror forms an opinion about guilt before trial they are supposed to disclose it. I think most jurors abide by the oath they take and base their decision on actual evidence at trial rather than wild theories thrown out on social media. JMO

One would hope.
