I wouldn't continue to obsess about CW wearing a wedding ring in one picture and not another. I routinely get in a hurry and forget to wear my wedding ring, it doesn't mean I am cheating on my husband or planning to kill him.

JMOO.
I haven't worn my wedding ring in years. Not making a statement or anything. I just hate wearing jewelry and hand washing takes longer. My husband always wears his though. I think it's just preference. So for someone like me, I don't put much thought into whether someone wears a ring or not.

Same here. I have kind of the same response to comments about his looking bored when the girls were jumping on something (a trampoline?) when they were in NC; I love my child, and can't imagine how someone harms their own child/ren, but there are plenty of times when a photo of me at the park/swimming pool/tennis court/etc. would make me look less than enthralled. I'm interested in what's going on, but I don't think a photo of a parent looking bored is evidence of anything deeper.

The more FB videos I watch of CW with the girls and SW selling stuff the more I’m convinced he didn’t kill his daughters. Something going on in the look in her eyes in the videos.

<modsnipped to repair a broken quote>

This was what i was asking about not double jeopardy. So if the second quote is true- if he did confess to his dad or alleged ap could it be used or is there a law against that? After writing this out - i think I answered my own question. It can be used and im too tired to think cognitively right now. Lol
If memory serves me right whomever he confessed to can be subpoened to appear in court as a witness for the prosecution. In the Simpson case a guard claimed her overheard Simpson confess to retired football hero Rosie Greer when he went to visit him in prison. They COULD have forced him to testify but Greer had become a pastor therefore they could not by law force him to repeat what Simpson said. Religious privilage I guess as a priest can not be forced to reveal things said during a person's confession. Although I am pretty certain that can be overturned if the priest is told by some person about a crime they plan to commit in the future.

All this date business reminds me of the discussions we had in Abby’s and Libby’s case re: same type of thing with the 2 different dates. Maybe somebody can summarize that clearly if they remember the explanation given?

Not sure how clear I can be, but I believe the families chose the dates. One chose the date they died, the other the date they were found. moo

If they hated him so much why include his last name when referring to them!!!!

I can’t believe we are now speaking ill toward his family.

Well, earlier someone was speaking ill about SW's best friend for being "nosey" and possibly lying to LE and calling them for a welfare check...

I never wear mine, I hate jewelry.

I do think the lupus bracelet is worth taking note, SW said he never removed it since she gave it to him. It's been on in all photos, even recent ones. Then poof, gone.

Sorry if repost, still catching up:

Funeral for Shanann Watts, daughters will be held in Pinehurst :: WRAL.com

“On obituary said a funeral for the family will be held Sept. 1 at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst. A livestream of the service will be made available on the Boles Funeral Homes and Crematory Facebook page.“

——-

I’m also bringing forward some of the recent msm as I come across it to add to the media thread (I’m sure pommymommy’s got that covered though):

Did Chris Watts Foreshadow Alleged Affair with Coworker in 2012 Video?

Watch Colorado family murder suspect give relationship advice in 2012 video

Chris Watts, accused of killing family, made video about saving relationships

(That is one heck of an article title)

Oh, if you only knew me IRL. :) We run a kitten rescue as a hobby and I've literally spent the evening wiping kitten bottoms (3 week old litter abandoned and now I'm mama) and sprinkling the floor with baking soda. #countrynightlife

A thought about the funeral home streaming the funeral...I saw elsewhere that people were complaining about this and thought it in poor taste. I get it, though. This is such a high profile case that I could totally see someone going in there, sneaking pictures, and then trying to sell them to the tabloids. If it's streamed, though, then such things would be practically worthless. There are also people like us who are kind of caught up in the tragedy and are legitimately interested in watching the victims be laid to rest. We might not know them, but we care.

TL:DR I think streaming the service is both practical and considerate and I like cats.
I love cats! Sad someone or someone’s would take pictures or video of such a deeply personal time. But, this is where we are as a society. Every Picture Tells A Story......

Regarding a plan to commit a crime, I've heard that too.

This case Slays me.
Why? Because IF, this could happen to an all American Family like the Watts,
it could happen to me, or you, or your daughter and her family.
How can a man that seems so loving, turn into a murderous Monster?
No signs for anyone to see.
Even if there were signs of an unhappy husband, how on earth could that morph into a killer that would strangle a 3 and 4 year old and proceed to dump their bodies into tanks filled with sludge?
That is pure Evil.
The videos of Chris Watts on the news after he murdered his entire family are a stunning look into a man with no soul. AKA: EVIL
Thankfully, I think that he is one in a million.

Exactly. The point isn't if someone wears jewelry or not. The point is a change. What he wore before the murders that he didn't wear after. moo

I am a little skeptical about that hairdresser knowing so much about their plans. Wasn't the whole family there? And SW started talking about being unhappy in marriage? Something is weird there, but maybe it was the family hairdresser who they had been talking with for years.
i hate to sound so flippant, but my hairdresser knows more than my blood relatives. It's a thing between people and their hairdresser. It's like true confessions when you get in that chair. At least from how i grew up. Again, my opinion and I mean no harm, just found it funny that someone would ask.And also i don't really need to be a long time client, basically get in the chair and confess!!!!

I wore my sons Live Strong bracelet till it really actually rotted off my arm. About 15 years. It happens.

I believe the stress of it all came crashing down and SW snapped!

I don't know about Abby and Libby's, but I remember this discussion in both Lucas' and Mollie's threads. I just pulled out Lucas' memorial folder and it says December 3, 2012 - February, 2018. They don't know the date he actually died. I think on Mollie's, they used the date she was found. (I haven't looked to be 100% sure.)

This was asked in the A&L case a few times and the families said that they got to choose the dates for the obit. I think one used the day they were found and the other the day they went missing. They picked them themselves, though.

If they'd had any idea the conspiracy theories that would be created based on the difference I wonder if they would have chosen the same date.

The more I read and watch the more I think CW is pure evil and planned the four murders. At first I was in the 'snapped' camp but no more. moo
