It depends on the laws of the state. That said, there are usually two arrangements: a child support arrangement and a parenting arrangement. When sought by either parent, the court tends to err on the side of = arrangements.

I just reread it right before coming back here and finding your post, and you’re right, it does skimp on evidence. It was written Aug 16, the day after the arrest. I assume because C.W. confessed to Shanann ‘s murder that gave them enough to arrest him, and enabled them to skimp on evidence in the report. One part that stood out to me is all the detail concerning Shanann’s cell phone. They took possession of her phone shortly after they arrived the day she was reported missing, and with CW’s consent took it with them to the police station. I’m hoping this means that evidence they plan to use against CW is on that phone. If it’s true that Shanann knew the marriage was in trouble and they were headed for a separation, you would think there would be plenty of emails and texts about it on her phone. They were apart for 5 weeks, plus the weekend she was in Arizona. Her state of mind, her feelings about their marriage, him, their future, her level of pain and anguish, all of that would be there.

And even more telling is if they were deleted. Had he spent some time that night deleting evidence from her phone. He was charged with altering/destroying evidence. We assumed it meant moving the bodies or perhaps partial clean up within the crime scene. Might it also include the phone? Would they need a seperate charge for that or would it be included in the 3 charges already filed.

I'm still trying to understand that. I thought that Shanann posted on either Facebook or Instagram that CW encouraged her to try for another pregnancy?

I still think it was premeditated. He was playing the perfect husband by pretending to want to expand the family. Perfect husband, perfect daddy. Perfect mask. (Imo)

She was only 15 weeks pregnant. Could CW have turned so quickly into actually murdering the whole family in that short amount of time?

Well, I guess, like many if you say, we may never really know what 'dark' thoughts could be hidden inside that mind. Only that which he chooses to share them (honestly, at least - but then there is the conundrum - we wouldn't know if he's being truthful)

I'm thinking that the financial problems were a strain on him. They had an upcoming appointment with HOA regarding financial issues and perhaps there were other money problems we don't know about. He got out of financial trouble in the past through bankruptcy, but this time he wanted out for good, imo.

On top of that, he is seeking and receiving attention outside the marriage.

SW and kids were gone for several weeks and when the cat was away, he could play.

Even as energized as SW was, perhaps she came home exhausted or moody - maybe the homecoming was a drag instead of a celebration. Then, as soon as they return home, SW leaves for a conference, and CW is in charge of the kids on his own. That can be a jolting transition to go from a carefree time with no family to having both kids all day (who might also be tired and out of sorts after traveling and switching scenery, etc.)

I think their emotional conversation was not the night she returned from her conference, but the night she returned home from visiting her family. Speculation on my part.

I think he wanted out from the financial responsibilities of the growing family. The pregnancy might have been "welcomed" but also a reminder of money issues, and being tied down....when he had side action that reminded him he still had game.

I do think the pregnancy was part of his decision and he knew full well he was killing yet another life when he killed his wife.

In my observation, opinion only, men usually don't leave their wives unless there in another woman to go to. But, husbands will kill wives over money. (Yes, you can point out exceptions, I know.)

Question - if someone attempts CPR on another person, would their DNA be transferred to the area around the mouth, where one would pinch the nostrils closed and/or the neck to open the airway?
Same with feeling for a pulse (artery on neck or wrist most common,y used).
*I realize that there may be “environmental factors (oil for days)” in this case, so that may or may not contribute.

I apologize for the disgustingness of this post, but I’ve marinated chicken in oil & lemon for a few days, and it seemed to preserve it. But I’ve read that the temperature in those tanks runs pretty high, so it may have had a cooking effect. We just won’t know until the Coroner’s Report is released.

I'm glad the unconsciousness happens rather quickly but the actual death takes minutes. How could he to his own children!

I'm confused about what could be an important point. So, can someone clarify what is known about the "shrouded doll" photo posted on SW's FB page on August 9th? More specifically, is it known whether SW both took and posted the photo, or just posted the photo?

I must have missed something although I know what we're talking about. I thought this had something to do with how CW played with the girls sometimes with their dolls. Is that speculation? I haven't seen the pic either.

Yes she posted that on FB. It's possible at that time he still wanted to be with her and the kids, or at least try. Remember in his speech he says that having a kid can save a bad relationship(LOL) and maybe he started having an affair shortly after.

Its crazy though like you said, can that really manifest in 15 weeks? Go from trying to save a relationship to murdering your precious children and wife in cold blood?

It's also possible SW was just saying that on SM and it wasn't necessarily true. He didn't look thrilled in that pregnancy video.

IMHO in that pregnancy announce vid he looks blindsided and less than thrilled. He also looks to me as if he is trying to hide his negative feelings.

Not necessarily, if he was having the affair with a coworker. Probably wouldn’t need a dating site if that’s the case.

There are some who aren't satisfied with just one affair partner. They use multiple ways to find other potential affair partners.

I don't think think this is the "norm" for most cheaters, but this definitely happens and they carry on multiple affairs at the same time and are extremely adept in hiding all of it from their spouse.

My mind is open to this possibility because this guy doesn't fit into any kind of "norm". JMO.

On Child Support:

When I was divorced, the kids lived with me, he paid child support, when they were older, they lived with him, I paid child support to him. When they went back and forth, we didn't bother.

But, all of this depends on the situation. Fortunately, we had a very amicable divorce.

When passion and romance go bad, it goes really bad. I have a feeling that this would not have been an amicable divorce.

If CW planned this. Wouldn't he take into account the fact that NAU was dropping her off at their house when they landed? All the better for the delay maybe, as it was very late, but if originally she was scheduled to be home sooner, then it's entirely plausible NAU might pop in, for whatever reason.

But I think they were only delayed by 2 hours or so. So it would have been midnight. I doubt she would have popped in that late, on a work and school night.

CW said he went into a rage and strangled Shanann to death, then loaded all three bodies in the back seat of his truck and took them to an oil work site CERVI 319, per the affidavit.
