I think we’ve all been looking at this crime, trying to understand what happened, assuming CW was smart and thorough. If we switch that up and start over from the beginning under the premise that CW was careless and stupid, this execution of this crime makes a lot more sense.
Oh when I say premeditated, I don't mean well-thought out. Merely just that he had been thinking about it. And I think him killing the girls first and then having to wait for her for hours due to a delayed flight fits that narrative too of him being careless and foolish but still planning it.

Actually, they did say they were trying NOT to be offended by the question. It was in fact an aggressive question, one that (I feel) only sitting behind a keyboard allows one to ask. In person, if someone is that aggressive, it cuts off communication. As it did last night. Last night, this looked a bit like a Facebook site. Not do today..a bit more..congenial? In my own opinion only.

Yes maybe we could almost do with a poll on whether you'd come on here if you were an insider.
What do people think - if you'd known either party/both. Would you?

IDK if the person was bona fide but I do recall them saying " maybe it was a mistake to come on here." ( i have it amongst the screenshots)

Well you asked if there would be drug interactions with the Thrive patches so that's what it sounded like to me.

I just was curious if they did because they were in CO. Also because I know if mixed with certain medications although rare, it can cause some medications to be more potent. The thrive patches/pills have been brought up a lot, I just hadn’t seen MJ & thrive posts together.

I’m a firm supporter of MJ. Cancer related, pain related, & autoimmune related- it has helped with all of those. Considering she had autoimmune disorders, and how emotionless CW seemed in some videos/interviews, it made me wonder if MJ had any part in their life. I doubt it did, because MJ makes most people happy... and as Elle Woods says “happy people don’t kill, they just don’t.”

I’ve contemplated moving for MJ. So it didn’t seem much of a stretch to ask if it could have been a reason.

Interesting insight into potential dynamics of their relationship. Thanks for sharing!

Was this whole video posted online? I don't get all of the chit chat at the end??? Seems you'd stopthe recording when you get a call?
Oh man, I get her humor, but I feel she didn't respect him much and he grew to hate her. He was probably boiling underneath....a low rolling boil.

Thanks to all who are so thorough with posting the info we want to know. You rock the caspah!
Thanks, Tarheel. I hadn't seen the inside of the house before. Was this SW's listing when she was the seller? I bet the purple dining furniture belonged to SW.
One of the black-edged mirrors and a wall ornament look like ones in the Watts CO house.

Was it legal when they moved? I got the impression the move was economic in motivation.

Medical marijuana was legalized in Colorado around 2000.

Recreational marijuana didn't become legal until Jan. 1, 2014.

Oh, I have no idea. Colorado is expensive though isn't it? I suppose it was the job that took them there. Plus, CO seems like a nice, fun place.

Thank you! I hadn't realized it had been legal that long for medicinal use. I lived in Colorado in the late 90s, but I was just a kid and didn't follow the news!

Here’s another one that murdered his wife and daughters last year. I’m not sure if there’s a thread for them

UPDATED: Kelowna man accused of killing wife, 2 daughters back in court

Interesting parallels. I wonder why this case is getting so much attention while that is not.

She seemed to also have her own business which she was promoting a lot on social media. Not as much as Shanann. But a lot.

Not that this has anything to with the Watts specifically, but I moved here even before recreational was legal because 1. Medical was legal and 2. Even before recreational legalization it had been virtually decriminalized, moo.

(ETA: Now whaaaaat were we talking about again? Pass the Cheetos please!

JK haha

God Bless Colorado!)

I agree with all of your post. I don't smoke but I know others who do for pain management (and recreation). Some include senior citizens with very painful leg problems. It helps them.

Can you elaborate as to why you say that? Is it because she had seemingly endless energy?
Because people who use are pretty open about it, especially if it's for medical purposes. She never once mentioned MJ, and honestly they seem too 'type A' to be cannabis users. Never met another MJ person to be that 'type'.

I can’t go there, yet. I need more information. I need to see the texts CW and SW sent to one another in the days leading up to the murders. I think there will be some very telling information in those. It would be great to see the other texts CW sent during that time period as well.

You can buy CBD over the internet, for pain management. Don't need to move house...

I have a deadline I have to go meet, but I want express one more opinion; there are no Snow Whites or Prince Charmings in the real world, only people. All people have flaws. They also have many wonderful attributes. Most of us are balanced. Most of us do the best we can. But, there are a few that give in to their base needs and/or desires no matter the cost to others and to society. There is no excuse for them, no matter what someone else may have done. And there is no reason to believe their lies. CW should be judged by all of his actions that led to the deaths of his family, HIS FAMILY, and he should be judged by the evidence. Not by the perceived nuances, of behavior, of others.

Agreed.....although, if you go back to the beginning of her Instagram, when they just moved to Colorado and there are some "time hop" pictures from earlier....the Watts seemed to be a little different back then. She didn't look as put together all the time and he was chubby, with tattoos and he wore a heavy chain necklace. They evolved. Especially after they got into the supplements and healthy living stuff.

Unless I don’t want to just use it for pain management ;)

I think for most of us it has nothing to do with gender roles. I would be equally disturbed if a man was squirting a young child in the face.

My mommy mantra was 'not in the face' when my kids played with squirt guns, nerf guns, etc. I wonder what a pediatrician would think.
From a different perspective, you learn what you live. I was raised in a household full of brothers (SW only had a brother), and I do wonder if the reaction to the videos would be the same had SW been interacting with and squirting sons-- and not girls; and pie face was between Dad and sons. JMO

MJ is so normalized around Colorado that it’s not a social stigma anymore, at least not as much as it used to be. There are other drugs like Meth that are a more of a menace.

I would say the most trending (for lack of a better word) thing in the industry is CBD oil. Ingested or topical in measured doses, it’s a pain reliever and anxiety reducer. And it’s not supposed to get you high.

It’s probably not getting much attention simply because it happened in Canada. They’ve kept many of the details under wraps, unlike this case.
