The only purpose I can see for having another child at that point (if the affair was going on) would be to distract her. Maybe if she's too sick or too busy preparing for a baby and raising two toddlers, she wouldn't notice him running around on her.

I agree. That's part of my thinking. I just don't think CW was pushing for it and trying to convince SW initially. From everything I have seen and read (both on SM and also from people who knew them) SW appeared at least outwardly very interested in being in the mom role and appeared to quite literally be thriving in it. Logically, to me, the person having the affair is not going to proactively try to convince her to have another baby. Hindsight, knowing he was having an affair (I think that has been fully confirmed), and knowing what he ultimately did, sheds a whole different light on whether or not it makes sense he'd be pushing for it.

IDK, SW seemed occupied by 2 kids and her Thrive promotion. I don't think CW would have been that strategic to have proactively thought "I think I'll try to convince her to have a third". Appears he already had had plenty of time for....extra-curriculars. So I'm just saying I can see him going along with the idea of #3 b/c she wanted it and thinking it would be a good idea to keep her happy. Bad idea all around no matter how it's cut.

Agreed. Heck my ex husband pulled the same on me - badgered me into having baby #2 when we were already having obvious issues. I said no, and found out later he had been cheating on me at the same time with several women, while trying to convince me another baby was a great idea.

That's interesting. And sad of course- I'm so sorry you had that happen.

But thanks for sharing and it's interesting to see that your ex behaved that way. It's so contrary to my logic that a person having an affair and having marriage issues would push the wife for another baby. More frequent than I thought I guess.

Here’s an article about a talk he gave in which he discussed the possibility of having another child, in order to repair a deteriorating relationship.

She was Type A. yup. Him? He tried.
It sure seems like he became Type A eventually, you have to be driven to lose that much weight!

Agreed. I’m the “boss” in my relationship and my kids often say “moms in charge”, but I remind them that dad is in charge too and to respect both of us. Personally I do find the videos to shed some light on the situation and just because SW is the victim does not mean that she didnt treat C.W. with disrespect in many of those videos (that is not victim blaming IMO). It’s one thing to be a strong female, it’s another to be rude and condescending to your spouse. On one video she said something along the lines of “see guys my husband doesn’t know how to listen” and rolls her eyes as she walks into the garage. If my husband posted stuff like that about me online I’d be hurt. Aren’t you supposed to be a husband and wife team, on the same side of things? Even if you are teasing/ribbing someone you don’t generally gloat for 10 minutes about winning a game... thats called being a poor sport and as children we are taught NOT to do that.

I don’t know why I’m overanalyzing the videos, as it really doesn’t matter. At the end of the day C.W. is still a murderer and a monster and I’m 100% on SW’s side. May she RIP.

I am new to Websleuths and this is my first post. :) I have read through all the threads for a couple weeks, wanted to answer often, but can only have permission to write today.

This case has hit me hard, probably because it is so relatable. I also have two girls, with a bit bigger age gap. When I watch videos of BW and CW I always think they could be mine and that family could be us :( We also do Facetime with the grandparents quite a bit. RIP little angels and SW.

I think the murders were premeditated and the kids were dead when SW came home.

Also wanted to add that having kids so close in age is very, very stressful.

Quoting the above post because I fully agree with this opinion. I personally also do think that social media played a part of CW boiling inside.

I hope, by now everyone knows how I feel about CW. He is a biggest 🤬🤬🤬 and is guilty as charged.

Yet, in the whip cream to the face video, I saw a loving, caring, fun-loving and attentive dad. My true feeling. I was surprised.
Our verified insider said the same thing about CW.

Is this a big giant problem for the State? No, but it's an obstacle they have to over come in order to prove premeditation. JMO.

Extremely interesting. There have been posts that have been hidden since being memorialized. So that means she had a legacy contact and it more than likely was not CW.
I'm not on FB but from what I understand, the posts that non-friends think hidden and/or deleted are actually still seen by the FB friends. I've also been told FB changes/updates these things with settings frequently. MOO

Yes, but even changing the privacy of a post has to be done by someone. They don't just change from everyone to only friends on their own. If FB changes, it is a sweeping change. These were just some of the more "attention getting" posts.

Do we have a verified insider?

Lots of their friends have said they seemed very happy together, totally in love etc.Yet we know now he was carrying on a long term adulterous relationship..
He is not what he seemed to outsiders, that's for sure.

I noticed the mark on her neck also and it is not in other videos.
I had an ex (18years) that not only whom would choke me but would grab me by the neck violently and throw my down, shove me and or throw me into a wall and it would leave marks just like that. It would almost look like a hickey but it was skin being pinched between his fingers. Soooo IMO ONLY that's what the mark on her neck looks like.
I know people have said there was zero DV in this relationship but anyone and everyone whom knows me and or knew me would have said the exact same thing. And I was beat horribly bad but I told no one and my ex was the most loving husband and dad in public, behind closed doors he was a monster. These kind of people do exist.

It was a surgery scar. In some vifeos you can see it more clearly and she talks about it. I've had the same surgery, have the same scar.

Facebook

You can tell us in advance whether you’d like to have your account memorialized or permanently deleted from Facebook.

Memorialized Accounts:

Memorialized accounts are a place for friends and family to gather and share memories after a person has passed away. Memorialized accounts have the following key features:
The word Remembering will be shown next to the person's name on their profile
Depending on the privacy settings of the account, friends can share memories on the memorialized Timeline
Content the person shared (ex: photos, posts) stays on Facebook and is visible to the audience it was shared with
Memorialized profiles don't appear in public spaces such as in suggestions for People You May Know, ads or birthday reminders
No one can log into a memorialized account
Memorialized accounts that don't have a legacy contact can't be changed
Groups with an admin whose account was memorialized will be able to select new admins
Pages with a sole admin whose account was memorialized will be removed from Facebook if we receive a valid request

Deleting Your Account

You can choose to have your account permanently deleted should you pass away. To do this:
From the top right of Facebook, click and select Settings
From the left menu, click Security
Click Legacy Contact
Click have your account permanently deleted and follow the on-screen instructions
For Friends and Family

If you'd like to create an additional place for people on Facebook to share memories of your loved one, we suggest creating a group.
BBM
A Late Edit to my post above: I'm not on FB and don't know if these are the most current instructions as I'm told that FB updates changes to settings and/or policies often. Those more familiar may be able to add to this. TIA....

Are the homes in SW’s neighborhood close together? One thing I noticed in the XMAS video was that Cece’s crying can be heard from one end of the house to the other. Makes me wonder whether there was a struggle when CW committed the murders or if he killed them while they slept. Surprised neighbors have not commented on loud crying coming from their home (just Dieter’s barking).

Not a lot of screaming comes from a strangulation.

Yeah, I've seen that (and it's both weird and retrospectively creepy), but I guess it's just hard for me to think he actually bought into it at this stage of their marriage. From my (very insignificant to say the least) viewpoint, he didn't seem to be the one wanting to save the marriage.

I don't know... nothing makes sense honestly to me in the entire tragic case. I just don't get it. WTH happened. As we all do, I'd like to have better answers than merely a "he's just a psychopath" conclusion - but maybe that's just what it boils down to. I'm absolutely confounded by what happened to this beautiful family. So much hidden pain.

Edited for grammar

Thank you for update. I'm formerly bowing out of the FB regs as I'm clueless!
