"I didn't find out that they were going to separate or anything like that until I called Chris that morning. When I called him and asked him where she was, that's when he told me and I basically told him that that wasn't my [concern] at that particular moment because it wasn't and that their business was their business, that they would either work it out or they wouldn't."
Friend of woman allegedly killed by husband not 'shocked' by his arrest
Thanks PommyMommy. That is very suspicious comments from CW.

He may have said that to imply that she went into a rage and killed the children as a result. Jmo
True, but at this point he not likely thinking they will find the bodies. I think he is throwing her off the scent as if to say she might be off her schedule, staying somewhere else, etc. He needs more time at the house.

and yet not every sociopath kills.
True. Some just enjoy playing with their victims long enough to destroy their lives (emotionally/mentally/financially *not* by killing) before moving on to the next victim. Sociopaths are usually charming and eloquent. CW is neither, he comes across as shy and stuttering.

Absolutely. I was NOT aware that CW told NU they were going to separate. Throws a whole new light on things.
Yes, where is the link? Anybody?

Sorry, MsB not sure how to link the actual post but this is where I read it and alarm bells went off in my head!!

Yes, and NUA spoke to him about noon or 12:10 pm, IIRC. He told her SW was on a playdate, and that they were going to separate. He didn't come home until after she called LE and Officer Coonrod called for the code. I have a bet with another member here whether the key pad was actually working or not.;)
PommyMommy, I wasn't aware the CW told NU on the phone that day that they were going to separate. That is the first time I heard this??

A chokehold from behind would render someone unconscious in 10-15 seconds.
He could have then held it until she was dead. I think this makes sense as the method in his wife’s murder, because it would explain the lack of injuries on C.W.

Or maybe a pillowcase from behind?

Probably wearing a "thrive" patch. And I say that with disgust...MOO
I did a little looking into LeVel and Thrive...I found that the MLM companies are somewhat diabolically genius. Because as a promoter your entire livelihood depends upon getting people into the fold, you really cannot (1) complain about the company, (2) complain about the products. Ever. And the requirement to lease a luxe car in your name, wherein they will make payments on it when you are keeping up your sales, is yet another bind that ties...while showing off a luxe lifestyle. I think the entire endeavor can be very stressful. At first, you make huge bonuses, and then it seems to become a trickle until you make very, very big sales. My guess for the 80k level she was at would be about 4% of sales. If you hit 200K for a month, it is 8%. The entire house of cards falls apart if you show any apprehension about the company, products, or job. Talk about stress.

Possible. But a chokehold would be far easier. There’s a bunch of viable possibilities though.

In fact, the vast majority don’t.
Absolutely. They wreak havoc in our lives then move on to the next thrill, leaving us to pick up the pieces. At least we have pieces to pick up, though, and we weren't killed.

Nickynoo..... I have been concerned where it says in the affidavit that CW wanted to "initiate the separation"..... if I was juror I would pay close attention to that. Initiating "A" separation would indicate to me it was a first mention, a shock, whatever...... but initiating "the" separation would lead me to believe it was something discussed prior. How someone reacts to such news and considering he mentions having an emotional conversation, I would press hard to make sure what was stated in the affidavit is concrete.

I think an "emotional conversation" might take place if SW found her children dead.

From the horror that has taken place I truly hope that SW did NOT see/find/know her precious girls were dead. Nothing could be worse IMOO.

I just read about it on this thread now by PommyMommy.

oh WOW - I didn't know he had told a friend SW was on a playdate after she'd been murdered. how does he think he can get away with saying she killed the kids if he never reported it? and why is she gonna go to a playdate if she had killed her kids? He has no logic whatsoever. which is actually not surprising.

I highly doubt that happened. If the girls were killed first, allowing Shanann to see, could have thwarted his plans. She would have likely become combative, left marks, as well as signs of a struggle.

He would have taken her by surprise.

In the affidavit the monster initially says they spoke about a separation at 5am and had an "emotionalco conversation". Seems to me a tight timeline to then leave for work. After killing his babies and wife and arriving to work on time.

Later on in the affidavit the monster changes his time of this supposed conversation to 4am.

So basically we're supposed to believe this woman came home around 2am, made it to bed, and he woke her up at 4? 5? To discuss a so called separation, cried his eyes out, and went to work?!

Did he look like he'd been crying at work? Was he a mess? Would coworkers confirm? I wouldn't be able to cry and have that emotional discussion a couple hours before work and show up ready for business as usual.

Moo moo moo

I didn’t know about leasing the car. I have never heard of that before. A cash planning nightmare. It just goes along with my thoughts that it takes a substantial amount of working capital to thrive on Thrive.
