"I really wonder how much of his motive was wanting to break SW’s heart. If he wanted to see her completely destroyed hard to imagine anything crueler than calling her to the Master bedroom w/“hi honey come here, I have a surprise for you” and when she walks in the girls are on the bed. Or not doing anything— waiting for her to come into the MBR assuming he’d be asleep and instead finding the girls."

Wondering what makes you think that might be a motive that shaped the killing sequence/crime, in your opinion @Colorado303
Because I know how much she loved her girls, and the facts of the case (specifically the things that have been published about the flight delay and events/findings the following day) lead me to believe they were dead before she came home.

Yes. And I don't think there is much in the videos at all to prove anything. I think the communication between them in the month leading up to the murder may provide the best evidence. Jmo

Abusers know how to behave in public to appear peaceful and loving. They also know how to bait their victims to set them off so they look like the abusive ones - or at least unstable. master manipulators. nothing he does in public is very likely a realistic representation of his real personality - except laughing and smiling in interviews the day he killed his family.

And let’s not forget that his opportunity to clean up, and cover his tracks, was thwarted by Shanann’s friend. This crime would not have appeared to be as sloppy, if he was able to complete the coverup.
If it was pre-planned he had hours to "clean up" SW arrived home at approx. 01.48.

Right, but why wouldn't he have said, "I saw her trying to kill one of the kids so I hit her in the head" instead of saying he strangled her to death? The former would have not sounded quite as fatal. Jmo
I think it is the use of the word 'ultimately' that may give an inference that something happened prior to the strangulation.

I have an impression, but honestly couldn’t tell you why I have that impression so my opinion would just be speculation. Another VI is probably better equipped to answer than me.
What is your impression, if you don't mind answering? We understand it is just your point of view. Jmo

By Wed morning no doubt LE had approached Anadarko for Chris’s GPS records, and they were using an Anadarko drone to search sites. LE probably also asked for his email records. CO is an employment at will state and they could have fired CW just because if the fuss, but I think it’s highly likely they saw something in where he was with the truck (not where he said he was and/or was supposed to be) or something in his emails that violated company policy and provided grounds for termination. The grounds wouldn’t necessarily be even related to the case.
Perhaps at or around the same time, the affair with a co-worker was also revealed to management at Anadarko; a violation of company policy. I wonder if AP is still employed there. Things that make you go hmmmm...

Exactly, and my opinion is that it just means, in the end. Doesn't imply one thing or another.

I think from that, and by all accounts, she was the type of person who would keep up with all those things and making sure everything was in order. For example, her friend saying it would be very unlike her to leave the kids beds unmade. If there's one thing I have learned about her, is that she was a bit of a perfectionist when it came to keeping the house in order. Jmo

SW also posted the housework she did on facebook.

He didn’t dump the car or Shanann’s belongings, throw the sheets away, or take any number of additional measures that he likely would have taken, had he had the time. His ability to stage the scene, was destroyed by Shanann’s friend.

i'm confused. CW has public defenders? Do you know them personally?

I have seen defense attys use the affirmative defense to slander the victims. One in particular in CO, so it could be the same one but I don't think he does public defense. It was a bit tongue in cheek and it's very common so they all do it. but it's disgusting and I find them reprehensible.

I thought it meant he strangled her until she ultimately died.

Because that was a summary by the LE not the full version of CW's statement so who knows what's missing.
Right. The significant details are all that is included.

And dont forget, he could have popped that bedding into the washer to clean it instead of putting it in the bin, on the Monday night which he spent all alone in the house. Granted, he could do anything about the wallet etc, but he had the opportunity to do something and didn't. I wish there was a shrugging shoulders or an exploding head emoji, because there is no understandin this case!

EXACTLY.

just because it’s not mentioned in the affidavit doesn’t mean it didn’t happen/wasn’t said/wasn’t discovered

For instance - it says CW backed his truck up and loaded his tools, but no mention of how he left the house to get TO his truck. Did he go through the garage? Through the front door? (Was the front latch locked bc SW had done it at 1:48am, or bc CW had done it before he left with his truck?)

Lots of other details missing - things I’m sure they asked and he answered (truth/lie), or that they otherwise know.

The rest will come out later.

But if you like you say it was pre-planned he had hours to do that, did he not?

Good point.

They had a law suit from HOA pending . We know they filed bankruptcy in 2015. Looking at the debt we know it seemed to be her debt IMO . Ex chiropractor , nursing school , and many high end stores . Would it be possible that her vacations were not covered by level ? I know they cover some costs but I can’t imagine the debt with leasing the Lexus and her insurance . I know if you do not meet certain requirements Level pays nothing . If they spoke of selling the house it would maybe be linked to debt or separation imo
@Colorado303 do you know about the HOA lawsuit ? I saw a link saying Wyndham Teachers Association and another saying Wyndham home owners was that the same?

We could look into it by interrogating him on why he didn't preserve the evidence and call the authorities to help save lives of his beloved family before desecrating their bodies instead. His denial of murdering the kids has to be seen in the light of what he did afterwards....make sure they were dead and hidden and even try to make it seem like she went away with them.
Maybe he felt he wouldn’t be believed ...
