BBM:
My observation goes this way: I've read that the babies suffered from asthma; so, why wouldn't his first thought be "asthma attack" and that's why the baby was blue?
Hard to believe he could see a blue baby on a gray/black n white monitor.
Oh, wow, I guess that answers my question about the color in the monitor. I would never be able to detect the child's color on one of those. That's why I didn't understand it in the first place. As for the baby sprawled out and not moving, I've seen lots of children that appear that way in a monitor when they are sleeping! Jmo

He had the nerve to put on a shirt that SW purchased for him - the day after he murdered her.

MOO I wonder why a news reporter asked a "grieving parent" about his shirt. Is it known for a fact SW purchased that shirt? What if it was a gift from the AP?

EBM: to add quotation marks

They may have some blue around the mouth while they are alive and lacking oxygen but they do not turn blue enough for someone to see it on a screen after they are dead.
I agree, the color would have to be a drastic difference. I've seen babies whose faces are bright red from crying, but looking in a monitor you can't tell at all. Jmo

So SW, pregnant, ill, home from a work trip after 2 am, is up to having an emotional discussion, 2 hours later?

That is hard for me to believe.

Maybe the reporter was testing him. Some like to play the part of an investigator. It was the perfect move if that's what he was aiming for. Jmo

Yes, it is ridiculous. I believe that he was up all night, but not having emotional discussions.

And if he knows she had her first sonogram that morning, and has not been feeling well, wouldn't he want her to sleep as opposed to waking her up to inform her he wants a separation and then take off 20 minutes later, leaving her in bed to ponder it over? Sounds a bit insensitive to me. Imo

A grieving parent? No

CW claims SW strangled the kids. Right?
Either way they were strangled to death (I believe he alone did it)
There would have been a fight from those little ones. Even a 3 and 4 year old have the instinct to try to breathe even if they were asleep when it started. IMHO I am almost sure they would have woken up.
I think there was a horrible attack and he dumped the babes in the crude oil tanks so that their injuries/suffering would somehow be masked.
Wasn't there a picture of him with at least a scratch on his face?

IMO, the reporter knew that the smiling smug man was as off as you can get and did it to see just how off he was.

or someone from LE suggested to ask that specific question?
I'm not a rude person, but I would be pretty upset if my family is missing and the reporter are asking/commenting on my clothes.

I noticed a huge contrast on the few words (um um ) when the reporter mentioned SW was pregnant versus the chatty details of SW bought it on Amazon and the fact he liked that kind of shirts. Little bits and odds that I picked from the interviews...

Quick pop in. Have to go face the world today. By the time I get back here, we will probably be near the end of #25.

RIP Lovely ladies.

I believe there was a dual room video minutes that toogled between rooms .

If he indeed saw his child, sprawled out on her bed, blue in the face, why even wait long enough for the toggle to the other screen? Wouldn't he be scrambling up to the room, screaming, and calling 911?

This is a great point. Like LE, reporters have lots of experience with people who are experiencing tragedy. They know when something isn’t right, especially in terms of behavior.

I think the friend is lucky to be alive. I honestly think that if he would have been at the house when she showed up to check on her I think he would have invited her in and killed her too.

I honestly think that. He was out of control at that point and still in the process of trying to clean up the scene and make it look like they disappeared so I think he was likely in a panic type state and I think he would have killed the friend as she started to question where the wife and kids were.

Yes they are pale but depending on the cause of death they are blue for a while. I say this as a former worker with a Medical Examiner's office and all the removals I did while training in mortuary school to be a funeral director.
For instance, I found someone dead of a heroin overdose in January. He had been dead over 24 hours. He was extremely blue, darkish purple. And rigor had not broken yet. ETA he was in a very cold and clean indoor home, so he had not been tampered with in any way. [he was my 1st love just here temporarily]
---that's one of the main reasons I no longer want to be involved in traditional Funerary ventures, only as a celebrant for free---
So I can't say what they would have looked like and I didn't mean to butt in.
You are correct in many cases that they can appear very pale.
From strangulation it would seem the face would be affected and if it went on long enough, the eyes and tongues would protrude. :(
just my own sad and sickening opinion
Chi
Yes, but I'm not sure that there would be a color change that quickly, in terms of being dead, that is. I'm not sure what victims of strangulation look like when it's only been within a few minutes. Maybe someone else knows....

Yes, my wife and children are missing but lets have a little flirtatious conversation about how great I look in my sexy shirt.

Court documents say SW was killed on the 13th and the girls were killed on the 12th or the 13th which aligns with some articles that investigators think the girls might have been killed first which makes sense according to the Newsweek Family Annilators article I posted.

The family was financially over extended and flooded with debt which is a factor in Family Annilation. Perhaps while SW was away new credit card bills/charges arrived in the mail and maybe even a judgement, it overwhelmed him and pushed him over the edge and he went whacko. He could have put the girls in the oil tanks on the 12th and knew SW was not going to fit therefore killed her when she got home put her body in the back seat of the truck at 5am along with tools shovel etc. half truths.

Perhaps SW flipped out when she got home not finding the girls freaked out ripped off all the bedding looking for them out of sheer panic. Thinking they were hiding like the doll. CW got her from behind choked her then loaded her up. I think he did take the girls to the oil tanks the day prior on the 12th already knew he was going to bury SW after she got home.
