Unless I am mistaken, I think the sheet on the floor is the same one in the trash can.

During the initial walk-through by LE, they spotted bedsheets on the floor.

After LE had taken custody of the house. These items were found in the trash.

Jumping off this post, I found something very interesting while watching the Today Show video, which aired when the media and public still believed SW and the girls were missing. Pregnant woman, 2 daughters reported missing in Colorado

• At 1:14 a trash container is visible on the curb directly in front of SW/CW’s home. Similar trash containers can be seen in front of homes of neighbors up and down the street. Trash Day for Frederick residents West of I-25 would have been Tuesday, as noted by kizzykat in Thread #15, Post #416.
• It appears the trash for this neighborhood has not yet been collected at the time of the video shot, as the neighbor’s trash container is seen overflowing with trash. According to the Frederick Garbage webpage, trash is to be placed outside no later than 0700.
• Questions: Is there any reason to believe this trash container is not SW/CW's? Who could have placed the container in front of the SW/CW residence for collection? What could the contents of the trash container have been? Could anything have been removed from the trash container, by either CW, LE, or both prior to trash collection on this day?

Here’s another view of the same shot in front of the house, from a different Today Show video that aired post-confession. This video (at 1:42) uses the same shot as the one above, except you can get a better view without having the headline banner obstruction at the bottom of the video. Knowing what we know now, would love to see if anyone spots out anything else interesting in the first video.

Great observations. It may or may not be a container from their house. Regardless, there’s no way that LE would have allowed it to to be collected and disposed of. They almost certainly would have seized it, if it was in fact the Watts’ garbage.

If she is the woman who went to the house and called police ( sorry I don't remember her initials but I think that's who you are referring to) she said on the news in a video someone posted yesterday, that she knew about her 10: 00 appt and was concerned because she could not reach SW . She knew she would never miss that appt and went to the house to check on her.

Yes, NUA gave SW a ride home from airport earlier Monday morning, new about SW Dr appointment, and also went to her house. However, the question I replied to was regarding confirmation SW missed the appointment.

Yes, but I'm not sure that there would be a color change that quickly, in terms of being dead, that is. I'm not sure what victims of strangulation look like when it's only been within a few minutes. Maybe someone else knows....

Do we know how long they were actually dead? The little ones?
Or are we having to rely on CW's version right now.
Last I heard the judge was denying the dna tests on their throats asked for by the defense. I can see why, as that will all come in eventually and the judge is in no mood to play it their way right now.
If they were strangled with anything there would be marks.
He described seeing the body sprawled out and blue.
I didn't read anywhere that he said he saw a tongue protruding. Or a obvious protruding eye, did he?
There would be some damage caused from the point of the strangulation upwards. Always.

So SW, pregnant, ill, home from a work trip after 2 am, is up to having an emotional discussion, 2 hours later?

That is hard for me to believe.

Not to mention that there has been no reporting as to what time CW usually gets up in the morning (although I certainly may have missed it) and the neighbor who goes to the gym every weekday and reportedly saw him at 5:15 am that morning, said she had never seen him leave that early.

Court documents say SW was killed on the 13th and the girls were killed on the 12th or the 13th which aligns with some articles that investigators think the girls might have been killed first which makes sense according to the Newsweek Family Annilators article I posted.

The family was financially over extended and flooded with debt which is a factor in Family Annilation. Perhaps while SW was away new credit card bills/charges arrived in the mail and maybe even a judgement, it overwhelmed him and pushed him over the edge and he went whacko. He could have put the girls in the oil tanks on the 13th and knew SW was not going to fit therefore killed her when she got home put her body in the back seat of the truck at 5am along with tools shovel etc. half truths.

Perhaps SW flipped out when she got home not finding the girls freaked out ripped off all the bedding looking for them out of sheer panic. Thinking they were hiding like the doll. CW got her from behind choked her then loaded her up. I think he did take the girls to the oil tanks the day prior on the 12th already knew he was going to bury SW after she got home.

We simply don’t have a lot of information to work with in regards to your questions. We don’t know how long they were dead, or have any details about their physical condition. Hopefully an autopsy will shed some light on these details.

The judge denied the defense motion, because you do not get to tell the ME how to do his job. The ME would obviously analyze the bodies for DNA, especially potential “touch DNA” on their throats.

I get the impression he had to have been there at least one time before, not necessarily to oreads the site as a dumping ground, but perhaps specifically for work, as from judging by its remote location in the video I posted.

I just realized I "assumed" he had been there many times while working. Interesting how your mind works. Also, can't help but wonder if he may have been sent there with the affair co-worker together.

BBM, The judge did not deny the DNA tests on the necks of the children. The judge knew that the coroner would do those tests as routine and no special order was required. It was a ploy of the defence team to publicise their point.

The (damning) facts have led us to that conclusion. We’d have to ignore the facts in order to reach the conclusion that he wasn’t responsible.

Yeah, I dont know about protruding eyes or tongues, I don't think that would always be the case, in fact of don't remember a case where that was so in a victim of strangulation. We don't know the time of death, or whether he killed them before she came home, we just have his story and the evidence. My post was in response to his story, not how much time the girls were actually dead. His story of events conflicts with what he initially told police and even the second story does not make sense. It would appear that his version of finally telling the true story doesn't seem true either. Jmo

Either way they were strangled to death (I believe he alone did it)
There would have been a fight from those little ones. Even a 3 and 4 year old have the instinct to try to breathe even if they were asleep when it started. IMHO I am almost sure they would have woken up.
I think there was a horrible attack and he dumped the babes in the crude oil tanks so that their injuries/suffering would somehow be masked.
Wasn't there a picture of him with at least a scratch on his face?

Yes, all this happened, the strangling of one child, the active strangling of another, him looking at the monitor (with 8 seconds between screens) in the time that he stepped out of the room for a 'moment'.

I believe this too as this gave him one full day before SW came home to think about what he was going to do with her remains and cleanup plans after he got back from burying her. Unfortunately he never anticipated NUA coming by. I think all kinds of things contributed to this tragedy. Finances, the other woman, child and spousal support, new baby coming.

Did anyone see Dateline yesterday that preacher was married for years had beautiful children and met up with an old flame and had an affair? She wanted him to leave and divorce his wife. There was a video of him sitting with his attorney discussing how much he was going to have to pay in child support and alimony by state guidelines. It was too much so he didn’t pursue that route anymore so his lover was threatening to dump him if he didn’t leave her so he ended up making a bomb and putting it in his wife’s car. It went off but thankfully she was not killed. She survived. There are so many of these stories on 20/20 and Dateline. This happens all the time we just don’t hear about them all.

It is my understanding that many people do initially turn blue, when they are suffering from a lack of oxygen.

You’re right about dead people being pale, I used to work in a nursing home and after death, the patients turned a white color that is almost indescribable.

I think my other post didn't get sent, so sorry if this all appears together, but I would think If he strangled them he knows exactly what color they were, and maybe that's what made him think to use that in his story about seeing it in the monitor. Jmo
