I'm still stuck on the why this happened. Although there is no excuse on earth that would justify homicide.
I think she handled the finances , bill paying etc. and I think he was content to go along. I don't think debt bothered him at all .
I think when he decided he wanted out then he started thinking of the money situation. Maybe he had no money to get a place. They were in debt and he would be responsible for at least half of it plus child support. Maybe because wanted to sell the house and she was against it because that's the first thing he wanted to do after she supposedly went missing
It would certainly seem that SW would have been the one to handle the finances because she appeared to be the more dominant personality. With that said, CW was never the docile and passive guy he pretended to be. His actions tell us that was all just a big, phony act. JMO.
I think he handled the finances because he wanted control of the money, and I do think this was
always all about the money for CW. He also needed to hide his cheating. Affairs cost money. If SW had handled the finances, she would have noticed money missing. JMO.
When CW began his pursuit of SW, she had a beautiful, expensive home and was part-owner in a business. I think he played to SW's vulnerabilities (her lupus) and convinced her that he loved her for her. Not long after their marriage, CW found a job in Colorado. I've never seen where this move was explained. Did CW get the Colorado job to force SW into "cashing out" her equity in her house, or to remove her from her family so they wouldn't start asking questions about his motives, or both. IMO, both, because he wanted control.
Per SW's realtor, SW put her house up for sale to be with her husband. In SW's deck video, she talks of the house she built at 25 and her plan was to gain equity.
It appears the move to Colorado ruined that plan as she sold the house years before she could gain any real equity and she had to accept less than her asking price. And then they ended up having to file for bankruptcy in 2015.
When CW married SW, he thought he was marrying a woman who could not have children. JMO, if he really had wanted children, he would have married a woman who didn't have a health problem that could impact her ability to carry a child. How badly did CW want children? He didn't. JMO.
JMO, for a self-centered, evil guy, none of what ended up happening in his marriage to SW was what HE had "signed up" for. There was no money, and there were kids. I think he thought he'd found himself a better deal in the AP or that there was a better deal out there for him if only he could be free of his wife and children.
All JMO.
