Hello, that is one post I wish I could re do. I shouldn’t of used the word beginning. It’s vague and leading. I do not know who it is or how long it was going on. I knew when everyone else did. That’s the best I can do with that one. I’m sorry

Yeah, I'm not sure what the jury will think of his story that she went into a sudden rage and killed the kids prompting him to go into a rage and kill her. Jmo
I don't think they'll buy it and when they see what happened to those tiny girls, the grisly details that he can't blame on a dead woman, he's done, IMO. A normal person in a horrible situation who hasn't plotted something so breathtakingly cruel can't go through with something like that. It would break their minds to attempt it. MOO

Because the pictures are being used to show that he was there willingly, and smiling and posing for pictures. They are not being used to prove something about his personality and intentions, or how he interacted with his wife or how he treated her. The others were used to analyze and make assumptions about behavior and character. These observations were used to paint a negative picture of a murder victim, which could be used as evidence, which led to the assumption that the victim herself may have been capable of killing her children. That is the difference between the two. Jmo

Thank you for that clear logic.

this is where I think chris was.
he didn't enjoy being a father or husband but how do you say that out loud???
but now we know the depth of his soul.....
and now he gets to say out loud he is a murderer of his own flesh and blood.

dead beat dad and murderer.
but didn't he look hot on the deck squeezing his pecs :confused:

Oh yes... and the fact that he had to manipulate his dead daughters bodys to get them through the holes... that makes me just sick and angry...
If I was in the position of Shannans family I really didn't know how to deal with that. They might be forever broken until the rest of their own lifes.

That's true, sometimes these shows aren't accurate. But if this is, it sounds to me like he had two ways of getting the little girls' bodies into the tanks.

One would have been to empty the tanks in advance and put them through the lower opening.

The other way would have been to cram (not dump) their bodies' through a very small opening on top.

My thoughts are that if he drained the tanks in advance so he could put them through the lower opening, SW's body would not have required a shallow grave.

JMO.
I don't understand how he could even drain them. Where would all the oil go? How would he put it all back in? I don't understand at all.

Agreed, sadly. It is so hard to understand but one must only look at his 3 media interviews to see he was not devastated in the slightest. Nor was he later, according to the Thayer's. IMO.

He ate pizza. He ate anything. After he witnessed his wife slaughter his babies. He ate. And grinned. And wasn't hospitalized. And didn't cry. And he slept. (As evidenced by his clear eyes and lack of bags).

He couldn't have. He didn't have time. He would have had more time had her plane not been delayed.

Yeah I don't think CW drained the oil tanks. You can't just like drain it and put it in a bucket. Anadarko will know exactly how much crude oil it owns and where at all times. It can borrow money against it and it will hedge its exact physical position (the amount of physical oil it owns) with futures positions (contracts to buy oil in the future) on one of the commodity futures markets.

If CW wasn't fired for being a murderer he definitely was fired for tampering with the oil storage.

The man literally dumped his children into oil tanks after doing whatever he needed to do to them post-mortem to get them to fit through 8 inch openings. Childcare and custody arrangements were NEVER on his mind, IMO.

I think they were. He had no intention of doing childcare or paying child support

I think CW has obtained a new title in America , the most hated dad. Remember when Ross Harris held that title. These two men are monsters.

I don't understand it all either. Also, how did he have time to unscrew all the bolts on both tanks and drain both tanks????

This is exactly the point I made earlier. Witnesses can offer some color and clarity, but without knowing the specific nature of their relationship, it is impossible to determine the veracity of their statements.

The one I posted, and the correction, are completely contradictory.

Amen. Frankly I'm sick of that line of thought. Women put their families first and take care of themselves last often enough as it is. People should not be shamed for fighting for their medical rights and getting a diagnosis and treating their condition(s). There are entire cottage industries around ED treatment but women are doubted as looking for attention when after years of neglect by medical professionals they finally get a diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder or disease. A close friend was shamed by colleagues and even her own family for getting "tired" too often and she only found out after nearly dying in childbirth that she has a congenital heart defect. She never took her issue seriously because no one else did. It shouldn't take us nearly dying to get some respect when we say we don't feel ok. (end rant)
Amen

Yes this is not realistic. He may have moved some of the oil from one tank to the other using the connected pump, but if they were both near capacity it couldn’t have been much.

On AB I believe they said it took 8 hours to drain the tanks to recover the girls. In my work I once had an event where a male drowned in a very large tank of raw sewerage. It took 16 hours to drain the tank. They need something to drain the contents into. It’s a HUGE undertaking and involved many people and much equipment.

So I can only conclude with the information given that he put the bodies in through the small opening at the top of the tanks.

I am not sure what you are saying here. She stated that she knew about it from the beginning and two days later she corrected it to when everyone else knew.
She doesn't say when everyone else knew though. Does she mean after LE discovered it?
Why say the beginning then?

I think it depends on whether or not he owned it before they were married. I wondered about that myself, if they bought it together or if she used the money from the sale of her house in NC, or if she even sold it. I'm not clear on all that either. Someone must know.
From personal experience only: my ex and I purchased our second home after selling the first.

I made more money than she did but I had just started my new job.

My credit was better but her time on the job was longer.

We purchased the house based on her job longevity, (they had me pay down her debt to fix credit)

and I transferred the money for the deposit into her account and then we added my name to the deed after the purchase.

Does that make sense? Mortgage brokers found a way to make it work then. May be different (hopefully so) now.
