Yes this is not realistic. He may have moved some of the oil from one tank to the other using the connected pump, but if they were both near capacity it couldn’t have been much.

On AB I believe they said it took 8 hours to drain the tanks to recover the girls. In my work I once had an event where a male drowned in a very large tank of raw sewerage. It took 16 hours to drain the tank. They need something to drain the contents into. It’s a HUGE undertaking and involved many people and much equipment.

So I can only conclude with the information given that he put the bodies in through the small opening at the top of the tanks.
Agreed. I don’t think any draining occurred on his part.

Yes I agree, I really don't think he drained the tanks. You would need a truck and I am sure Anadarko would have security measures in place to prevent someone from doing this. You would worry about theft if someone could just load up a truck of oil and drive away. Some companies have censors that would detect changes in the level. I don't know what they have but they at least have to have security cameras.

If property is purchased during a marriage, isn't it a martial asset??

Sorry if this is not allowed. I am outside of the US and I get the basic idea of alimony. Could someone please explain. How often is it, is it for just the ex-spouse? (not children) is it for the rest of their life? Is there a separate say, monthly child, support payment? as well. I'm trying to understand what some of his motives might have been. I hope that makes sense. tyia.

Shine like Shanann. Trust a higher power and find the good in today. Keep believing "her" and the evidence she is capable of giving in death or life no matter who she is.

Eat your dinner. Nourish yourself. I make a list of 5 things I am grateful for each night. Gets me through days like this and tragedies like this.

And helps me to keep shining like Shanann.

jmo
Thank you for this thoughtful post. Yes!! Shine like Shanann. (tears..) Shanann, Bella, CeCe, and Nico, they are the brightest stars in the sky, always and forever.

I don't understand it all either. Also, how did he have time to unscrew all the bolts on both tanks and drain both tanks????
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the experts say he couldn't have done in the time he had, which means he had to have used the top entry. Plus it took the crews accessing them eight hours to get to their bodies. That does not sound like something that involved the lower access that they could have done in a couple of hours.

Absolutely. You should see me after two cups of coffee!!! :p

You people are shaming me. And making me think I need to go to the doctor!!!

  • #247
I agree. It's horrific! I don't see how he had the time to unscrew all the bolts and drain some of the tanks. Could he have gone out there a day or two before?

Boy I hope so. Locks premed in for good.

I don't understand how he could even drain them. Where would all the oil go? How would he put it all back in? I don't understand at all.

I don't see how he could have drained them, either. I think on AB, they were showing the two options of how the little girls' bodies could have been put into the tank. I think he crammed them in through the small hole on top of the tank, and that's why SW's body was put in a shallow grave as she would not fit through that hole on top. JMO.

Trinket78 post dated September 10.

“Yes I am aware of the one affair and was from the beginning. She also knew he wanted a separation before her trip. She continued to post about how wonderful he was. He deleted his Facebook after that.”

@k-mac The original post by @Trinket78 Sept 10th was amended by @Trinket78 on Sept 12th to state the following:

Hello, that is one post I wish I could re do. I shouldn’t of used the word beginning. It’s vague and leading. I do not know who it is or how long it was going on. I knew when everyone else did. That’s the best I can do with that one. I’m sorry
thanks bluff

thread 19 is very informative!
not sure how that all got passed me :-(

I can only guess what he was doing the entire time she was gone.

Not eating the carefully pre-planned meals that bully SW made for him.

Probably having nice dinners with his girlfriend instead.

So am I understanding this correctly... There are two ways and two ways only to open these tanks, both of which were quite full, as in won't need to be refilled nor will be empty for a long time. The bigger opening is on the bottom, includes dozens of bolts, and the tank must be emptied in order to open it, otherwise hundreds of gallons of oil would spill out. The smaller, and only other opening, is one at the top, which is 8 inches diameter, and can be opened while tank is full. The only way CW could have gotten them in there would be to drain the tanks with the pipe between them, which would take hours he didn't have and, I'm assuming, wouldn't be an option if both tanks were near full, as obviously you can't just overfill one without spillage.

Or the 8 inch hole.

Is that all correct?

I know it's poor form to quote myself. But. If those are the only two choices,, I mean, one of them is impossible in the time he had, thus if it occurred at all, which is highly unlikely, it would have to have been prior to the murders, disproving his story, or he put them through a hole the didn't naturally fit through.

Remember when you were like, "what piece of new information would it take to get flourish off that dang fence?" (I know you weren't really thinking that lol)

I'm, of course, anxious to find out lots more as time goes on, but assuming he indeed damaged their bodies to deposit them, then my benefit of the (reasonable) doubt for him as possibly viewing the location and specific place as somehow protective (elements/animals) and a possible symbolic burial, is gone and I've got me some fence slivers in my behind.

Apologize in advance for the certain typos within this post.

Or cooking T-bone steak for her.

I am not sure what you are saying here. She stated that she knew about it from the beginning and two days later she corrected it to when everyone else knew.
She doesn't say when everyone else knew though. Does she mean after LE discovered it?
Why say the beginning then?
BBM I am not saying anything here.
I simply posted the amendment made by Trinket78 on Sept 12th regarding the original post of Sept 10th.

I think it depends on whether or not he owned it before they were married. I wondered about that myself, if they bought it together or if she used the money from the sale of her house in NC, or if she even sold it. I'm not clear on all that either. Someone must know.
Met 2010
Married 2012
Bought CO home 2013

There are a million holes in his story but aside from that he loses people with the manner of disposal because it required premeditation. That's not the act of a person panicking in a horrid situation. People like that would have put all three in a shallow grave or hidden them under brush. They wouldn't be able to think straight enough to go to the extent he did. That's just not a thought that pops into someone's head out of the blue.

It was in my state. He was self-employed and we got better terms just using me on the mortgage when we bought our marital home. When the marriage was legally concluded, I sold the house and split half the equity in the house with him, which was required.

Oh I don't believe I saw people saying that.

That's exactly what the trip photos were about:

Unless you have some inside information we aren’t privy too, how do you know he did all the housework? Have you ever been home with kids all day? Her house was constantly spotless in videos and you can’t have a spotless house with kids without cleaning up throughout the day. This was the time he was at work right? Trying to understand where this theory came from.

It looked to me like SW was very busy with her MLM job, including traveling, so it wouldn't surprise me if CW did some housework. When he found time for his AP, that I don't know. When SW was traveling for work would be convenient but then what about the kids? Did the affair take place at work? I'm not doubting he was having an affair BTW.

He also appeared to travel with her. He is there in many of the pictures she took on Thrive trips.

For me, it doesn’t make any difference in terms of intent, if he had to break bones or not (although it is more depraved).

I think symbolism and an effort to protect their bodies, is really out there.

It’s far more likely that he was doing what many killers do. He was trying to hide their bodies and delay/prevent discovery.

There was nothing loving about where he put them, it just suited his purposes.
