I don’t condone any actual disposal if children in oil tanks nor do i care to do a re-enactment of such event that gratefully has been confessed to . This is hopefully testimony any family member won’t have to endure. Perhaps some close to the case do need to know. That is not for me to judge if they request it.

I don't know that anyone here re enacted the event, only measured their children for size reference. Of course the family will unfortunately hear this testimony. It's a huge part of his disgusting crime spree. If you are waiting to hear all of the evidence before making a decision on who is the guilty party here, then you too need to hear that testimony because it's a big part of the evidence.

I'm not sure I understand your post, you mean if the TOD, ie when he murdered them, was under 2 hours from when he dumped them, maybe he didn't actually have to break any bones or destroy their bodies while shoving them in there? Because they would have been more flexible?

@gitana1 agrees if C.W. was family annihilator he would likely to take out SW first.
If SW could have strangled the children obviously it would agree with the same timeline

I just noticed about 100 posts back someone included a picture of the girls in the home. It had exactly the kind of carpeting I was thinking of, and was freshly vacuumed. You cannot see footprints in it at all. I'm still wondering if the carpeting will show any evidence. If LE was in the home the next day, they may have noticed the carpeting. Since CW spent the night at the neighbors house, he may not have vacuumed. I wonder if, when it became a crime scene, they would have been able to detect whether or not Shanann even entered the girls rooms. It's a stretch, but even if he had vacuumed the rooms the night of the murder and they could not detect anything this would point to him trying to cover something up. Jmo

On the other hand, I am really interested in the mechanics of the oil tanks, the probabilities of which access he used. Don't forget, we were presented here on this board, with the theory that he emptied the tanks and lovingly and carefully placed his children inside. And that he was saving SW's reputation. But it doesn't look like that, considering what we are learning about the operation, function, and design of the tanks.

Yes, bonjoviblonde "unfortunately" if CW doesn't man up and take responsibility for annihilating his family, Shanann's family will hear painful testimony and possibly see reenactments in court that will be torturous. Measuring a little girl with a string and ruler is minuscule in comparison. I strongly encourage any posters here who are not well-versed in murder trials or courtroom reenactment to do some googling. Some examples:

A police officer called as a witness by the prosecution reenacted the blows struck by Pistorius against the bathroom door with a cricket bat. The brown, bullet-marked toilet door through which Oscar Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend was set up in the courtroom. Oscar Pistorius murder trial sees reenactment of cricket bat blows to bathroom door in courtroom

Kelly Siegler, prosecutor in the Susan Wright murder trial, actually climbed on top of a bed in the courtroom to reenact the murder of Susan’s husband. (She stabbed him over 200 times and buried him in the backyard.)

ETA: Nuttmegg, I quoted your post but forgot to say that I think it is very likely that the oil tanks will be part of demonstration or reenactment in court. Look how much they have been discussed here!

Probably shouldn’t follow the trial then. If there’s a trial, there will definitely be some sort of re-enactment.

I've seen people state that they are trying to think "like a jury." Researchers and attorneys perform experiments for research's sake all the time. They reenact them in the court room. Sometimes, they will reenact an entire part of the crime to help make their point.

I am disturbed that a man could toss his little children into oil tanks, that he possibly manipulated their bodies in a grotesque manner to do so. That he then abandoned them.

I am disturbed that rather than calling 911 to help revive his children, he instead turned and attacked his pregnant wife, ensuring that ALL of his children would die.

I am disturbed that a man took his beautiful, supposedly beloved wife and left her under a thin layer of dirt, disposing of her like garbage.

I am disturbed that a husband who had literally just disposed of his entire family's bodies stood on his front porch and laughed, grinned, and lied while cadaver dogs sought out the scent of death in his house behind him.

I am disturbed that a man has had at least 3 alleged affair partners (all from within the past year) come forward. Cheating is not unique, but it still disturbs me.

I am disturbed that when questioned by the press about his family's disappearance, he spoke of them both in the past tense as well as with detachment: "those kids".

I am disturbed that the first leaked information from him that has slipped through his jail cell is NOT about how he misses his family, his supposedly murdered daughters, but a whine about how nobody understands him.

I am disturbed that a man who supposedly just saw his daughter's murdered could hang out with friends and eat pizza and apparently act SO oddly that they felt they should call the police.

There are lots of things about this case that disturb me, a lot. @MassGuy measuring his niece definitely isn't one of them.

So I am not sure what you are saying or asking me . I do not like sensational headlines that is it that is all and imo she does not have breaking news everyday so she manipulates headlines as a whole reference to her not this case.

I thought it a very powerful move by Susan Wright re-enacting the brutality of the murder of KS's husband, absolutely shocking scene but very effective! The re-enactment of OP battering the bathroom door after shooting Reeva dead, I remember well.

I'd like to add this video of Henri Van Breda re-enacting an event that never happened, he conjured up an 'intruder' and played out for the courtroom a tussle with an axe. It was embarrassing to watch.

I imagine CW will be in the same predicament with trying to re-enact the attack on SW that never happen like he said. I believe he killed SW in their bed after they spoke to one another or while she slept. JMO

A lot of cable and network shows are the same, on subjects unrelated to grisly murders. You can't put blind faith into any one source no matter what the subject. IE you have to look around.

Very true. Look at Nancy Grace. I may consider something she says in addition to what several other news sources say, but never just her alone. I have never heard of the AB person, and don't know what she said about broken bones, but what I did get from her, and others, were the details about the tank. As far as I know, sources that have been shown to be not credible are not allowed to be discussed on WS. As long as it's allowed I will consider it. I'm not too fond of the DM, either, but I will still consider what they report, with a grain of salt.
