Maybe there was a reason they left NC. Maybe they wanted to get away from there.

Sometimes a new hubby (or wife) tries to separate the new family from a strong extended family that they may have felt a loss of power from being around. I see that mostly from men wanting to get away from the wife's support system, when it is a weak man.

Now don't everyone get mad at me, I just can't see the 400k in those houses. Inside it looks like a generic tile floor from a hardware box store, there is a tiny entry way into the living room from outside with about 15 tiles or less before the normal beige fuzzy rug begins, no real entry feeling, the yard is ridiculously small, looks like very little room along the sides between the houses, and I'm surprised the other sub division gets to build in back of them with that small fence, hardly any security at all from machines and construction debris. (but handy for an abduction, it's been noted) I saw a pic of the view turning into the subdivision from some larger road, it looked like dozens or hundreds of houses jammed together with very little green. OK, off my old person rant, being one who likes small houses and big yards/gardens! (Also half of my siblings live in those big house, small yard subdivisions, and I'm positive they look down on me but not when we compare their 6k monthly payments mostly to interest while my "hovel w huge yard" was paid off 20 years ago)

I think it's fair to say they were living well beyond their means. I wonder if they were already starting to build up dept again after the bankruptcy. It would seem so, if they were a year behind in their dues. With another baby on the way, there must have been alot of pressure. Jmo

The disparity in land value is ridiculous. In some areas around here, that house would go for 700k. Job sites my husband is working on, those McMansions where you can see in your neighbor's window are going to sell for 1.2M. Waiting waiting waiting for the bubble to burst.

If they really didn't have a reason to be that close to Denver, you'd think they could have gone a little farther away and he could still have commuted to the Anadarko fields.

Yes but what's the difference between that and his worksite except other people would eventually come to his worksite.

He has to drive many lonely miles to get to those two sites. The GPS likely wouldn't track how long he stopped anywhere along the road, just where he drove. Or does it?

I read on here that there are different designs for tanks. Some have spiral staircases. Some with ladders.

There is the Chris Watts video of walking up stairs but that is simply someone’s dramatization.

I cannot have my mind go to the 8 inch hole. But people on here tested the idea and it can be done

I am curious why they moved to Colorado.

He wanted to be a NASCAR mechanic. What happened to that dream?

The house she owned in NC was far superior to the Colorado house. She did not have enough time to have much equity so selling it was not much of a winner.

He went for a job fixing cars at a dealership. No jobs like that where they lived so they could build up a bankroll in NC? And she had a business that was lucrative enough for her to buy that very expensive home.

It seems like such a silly move.

Her house was so lovely. They moved to a place where the houses are so close you can practically touch the neighbor’s house. So strange to me

After SW’s divorce from her 1st husband, she began working at a car accessory company in Fayetteville, NC called Dirty South Customs. Her SM references her sales job there and there are many pictures of her at car shows, etc.

In 2009 she was named in a lawsuit against Dirty South and her boss. The court docs are public & I can link them here if it’s allowed.

This was the same year SW began building her home in NC. It was a beautiful home.

SW stopped working at Dirty South by 2010. She began nannying for a friend & did this for several years. I believe she did various MLMs to supplement her income during this time.

The family she worked for was transferred to CO, and SW & CW followed them out there in 2012. CW had been employed as a car mechanic at a Ford dealership in NC & got an equivalent job at a Ford dealership in CO. SW continued to nanny & worked in Internet sales for the same dealership in her free time.

They bought their house on Saratoga Trail in 2013. SW stated in SM videos that she had wanted to move to CO to “escape the drama.”

Charlie do you mean secured access from the TOP for a good sized man? Could it be that there is a lesser standard, ie 8" opening on the top, for these tanks in fields that fill relatively slow with crude?

Actually, it does. Every second of data is logged on a computer program. So you can see exactly where that truck is, has been, and for how long. It is a computer program/system on the truck, it is not just a GPS.

This is to allow employers to track the costs, and yes, movement of an employee. If the data from your truck is an "outlier" on the program in comparison with other trucks, you get to explain why your truck was parked for 2 hours next to the KitKat club, from 1-3 pm. On Tuesday, June 2nd. When everyone else's truck was cruising around to job sites.

The wonderful technology. And the reason I loathe driving company cars. "It is a perk", they said. I say, Bull. It is an invasion of privacy. They own it...they track it.

It could be they left NC just to have a fresh start assuming SW’s ex is still local down there, etc. They would hardly be the first people to head West and make a new life. SW moved out there first. She lived with the family she nannied for. CW followed with a U-Haul shortly after.

SW “hurried to sell her residence and left furniture behind as part of the sale,” the buyer told the Associated Press. A deed for the NC house was signed in August 2012 while SW was living in Colorado, property records show.

CW worked as a mechanic at the same dealership SW did Internet sales for in her free time. They lived with the family SW nannied for during this time. Their boss has been quoted as saying, “He was very passive. She was very aggressive with him. Bossy. Do this. Do that. Telling him what to do. Dominating the relationship. That I do know.”

The couple bought their home in 2013. CW’s name was on the deed.
Bella was born the same year.

They filed for bankruptcy in 2015 with over $400,000 in debt. CeCe was born shortly after.

It also could be the other way around, IMO. The dominant partner will want to remove the support system in order to maintain control, regardless of sex.

You raise an interesting point, especially since CW must have expected SW to arrive home around 11:00, before the flight was delayed. And that infers premeditation; that he had to think about these things. It's likely he knew his wife and her routine and planned accordingly.

If NAU had gone in, would she have been at risk?
