I am not a licensed attorney to speak to that, but I would think that a strong defense would be highly concerned about public perception and a potential jury pool to come from it. I believe, correct me if I am wrong, that criminal defense attorneys in high profile cases where MSM is not promoting anything defending their client would be remiss in their duties to not try and put out a more favorable perception of their client if they can. Attorneys?

His defense is barely getting the autopsy report this week. So they have to see what it says before running a nice guy media campaign at the moment. Jmo

I am not seeing they gave indications of past negative behavior on these . It was my interpretation they were speaking of post events and finding out his confession . Do both of them sell LeVel?

Yes, but what is telling is that several people now who knew them both and saw no character flaws before the murders, all appear to believe he is guilty (that have come forward to date). IMO, the evidence is just too much for even them to seriously entertain that he could be telling the truth in his confession. The Thayers were crying at the thought they let him stay across from their 5 year old daughter.

I’m interested in hearing what comes out at trial.

I’m not a lawyer, but I would guess his counsel would prefer their client be tried in court rather than a media war.

I assume all lawyers both defense and prosecution would like this to ideally be the case. I'm sure it's not fun to have to deal with media or social media rumors and allegations.

A lot of time in high profile cases, defense will have people speak on behalf of the defendant though when there's so much negativity against their client.

No. Shanann’s prolific Facebook postings are being used against her. He conveniently has no visible social media footprint to analyze.

From what little I've gleaned still not much out there with regards to his life before.

not sure, but if the court ordered for him to keep her on his plan at least temporarily he would need to even if he had it taken out of his paycheck. Imo the fact that he was having an affair and possibly several thru out the marriage would cause the judge to empathize with SW, especially with her being pregnant with his son. I think that right there would cause the judge to order him to keep the coverage on her.

The insurance company does not allow it.
