People were talking about her going to the doc there. I merely said it is expensive to go to the doc. It seems like that is not known?

Not if you are out of town on a trip or vacation. Your network will give you a list of clinics that you can visit for same or similar office visit costs as you would pay at home.

All individual jurors can do is view everything from their own individual perspectives that are shaped by their own life experiences. Please don't apologize. JMO
No. Not so. The potential jurors who are going to let their own experiences cloud their judgment would be weeded out of the process IMO.
The judge specifically instructs jurors to put their own prejudices and experiences aside and consider the evidence as presented only.

I doubt she would have to go to a doctor in NC unless it was an emergency and if it's an emergency, I doubt she wouldnt care one whit if it was covered by her insurance or not.
Exactly. You get medical care first and worry about the bill later. Also, most hospitals will work out a payment plan if you can't pay it all at once.

Because she might have lied. Mind you, he told a myriad of lies but that seems to be ok.
Really? Some people are defending C.W. despite all the lies he told, but they’re manufacturing lies SW may have told? Wow.

Apologies to all for quoting my own post...but I just realized that as Jeff Foxworthy (sorta) said..."You know you're spending too much time on a crime sleuthing site...when you quote a family annihilator to make a point and you think it's funny." Just sayin'.

I noticed when he said that. What an arrogant bozo, IMO. He's providing his "expert" assessment how how well the Frederick Police Department is doing their job.

He doesn't even seem to be aware of the fact that hours earlier, the Frederick Police Dept. had called in not only the CBI, but also the FBI. The Frederick P.D. and its "sargeants, officers, and detectives" were onto CW, and if he had been as smart as he thought he was, he would have kept his mouth shut. I'm very glad he kept blathering on.

My heart breaks for Shanann, Nico, Bella and Celeste but it also breaks because while SW had the most precious, adorable babies, she was married to a complete idiot. She may have realized he was an idiot, but I don't think she had any idea he was also very dangerous.

All JMO.

My insurance covers me whenever I’m away on vacation, wherever I go. Don’t most plans? Are there really insurance plans out there that require you to spend your life at home?

I know - I was just saying I've used the copy and paste method (with the little arrow) to bring a quote over from a closed thread. You can't quote or reply to a post from a closed thread like you can an open thread.
You quoted me, but left some of my post out.

It ended to say that the using the quote method did not result in the results they posted (paraphrasing)

You suggested in your original post the arrows and unique posts happen as a result of quoting. The mod has posted otherwise.
All good on my end. Hopefully yours too.

The discussion was that she could easily go to the doc in NC.

I think if anyone would look at the costs of their simple visits, they would be astounded. Add in lab work. Add in hospital admission.

Where I lived, a simple blood test was way over $100 . Add in the doc, the nurse , supplies. Ca ching ca ching.
Did she have to go to a doctor or hospital for any of those things while she was in NC?

Are you suggesting that SW's OB will be subpoenaed, and made to testify whether or not SW lied about advice he gave or didn't give her about Thrive products? And this testimony will somehow be relevant to this trial?
Yes.

All good on my end - what I was trying to say must have come out different. LOL

But C.W. already said SW strangled the children after their emotional conversation when he said he wanted a separation. Do you think he’ll drop that one and blame her erratic behavior on her Thrive patch, instead?

I have an off-the-wall theory here that the time with her family strengthened her to do what she needed to do, which is why she told NUA that she was going to need her more than ever. I think possibly she told him the marriage was over and he went off in a rage. He had talked her into a third pregnancy even while having an affair because he believed that would make it impossible for her to leave him no matter what he did. When he found out that she was no longer going to worship at that empty shell of an alter, he lost it. I don't necessarily believe this is exactly what transpired but it's a possibility.
I think that’s a good possibility too, but I’m still thrown off with the pregnancy. Most parents know that babies are expensive and a lot of work and if you are already having marital problems, a new baby is the last thing you need.
It makes no sense that he wanted another baby with SW since he was having an extramarital affair. (And we all know an affair is a symptom of a failing marriage, not the cause of a failed marriage) And SW was heavily involved with her job that required traveling and being away from the family. So, did she just find her self pregnant, unexpectedly? Did she think having another baby, hopefully a boy, would make things better with her husband? Did it anger him instead? Did she threaten to leave and go back to NC? Did that anger him even more?
So many possibilities here.

Nope, and she could have called the carrier in an emergency and depending on her condition and the closest in-network provider, they would have covered an out-of-network provider. It's not something that's going to be raised at trial unless they contend he murdered her for an out-of-state medical bill we haven't heard about...

Nope... you're generally covered, just have to pay more if out of network.

Apparently Shannan taking her "high risk" pregnancy out of network to NC has now become evidence of her lack of love for Nico and a sign that she murdered her beloved CeCe and Bella.

imo

According to her, he pushed for/wanted the new baby. I don’t put it out of the realm that he used it to throw her off the idea that he was cheating. After all, what man is wanting to be a daddy with you while he’s visiting other houses? Total speculation right there.

Interestingly, when I was on a local high profile case, our instructions for deliberation were that we could not bring in our judgment from our own experiences. We were to look at the information presented only. It was very difficult, to say the least. And we jurors had numerous verbal altercations about it and the judge reiterated her instructions. We were to decide based on the tiny bubble of information, not our life wisdom! So if this goes to trial, the jurors will have a difficult task. It seems easy to sit on a jury, but once chosen, many restraints come into play. MEO (my experience only), MOO.

I feel CW has accidentally been brilliant in introducing the SW strangling claim. It's disgusting, as I see it, a Jodi Arias move. But it will be a strong bargaining chip for a plea deal. JMO, of course. My fear is a plea that is not first degree murder. MOO.

When he says he saw SW strangling a child, what he really meant to say was he saw her desperately trying to revive her.. IMO he had killed them both before SW got in, then showed her what he'd done. He finally had the upper hand.
Then as if that weren't enough, he separated mother and girls and disposed of them in the most contemptuous way possible. I feel sure he planned a private little smirk every time he went back to the tank site.
I agree 100%.

Are we allowed to provide a link to a close family member’s arrest?

There have been so many instances since the beginning of time where women became pregnant when they probably shouldn’t have. People sometimes do the darndest things for the darndest reasons. I think C.W. was playing both the women in his life, and I think he did seem a little surprised toward the end of that pregnancy reveal video. Almost like he didn’t expect it to happen. I just came up with a possible scenario where he might have thought the more sex he had, the lower his sperm count. Anything is possible.
